  1. If it was a nod to a new theme and not a nod to returning to existing themes perhaps they build Colonial style?
  2. I switched up my houseboat but the Halloween gifts are still on the deck, touch to accept
  3. Camper Autumn 2022 - Nutmeg items
  4. Putting a boat back in one of my favourite ever places. It's sunrise facing with lighthouse view, land attached. It is a keeper for a lucky person they don't shift very often in this region... http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Fourze/100/183/27
  5. I know how it sounds but I thought it came up as a suggestion in a recent survey question they asked us about features we would like to see
  6. Bumping this to ask a cheeky question hopefully a Linden or Mole can answer and I apologise if has been answered already but I took a little look and could not see anything so ... will there be any chance of PP monthly membership trial price returning?
  7. I may be early but I couldn't resist - my Halloween boat is done - there are two free gifts available on the deck if you want to get something to decorate your own place with, (a rug and an end table as shown below), and some photo opportunities 🦇🐈‍⬛ http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Hammerhead Light/54/90/22
  8. Chloe's Coffee House at Gangway...
  9. Memory lane boats - Chloe's Coffee House at Pearlcoast...
  10. I've read his works - specifically "You Are Not a Gadget", "Ten Arguments For Deleting Your Social Media Accounts Right Now" and "Dawn of The New Everything. Currently into "Who Owns The Future?" I was attracted to it through my use of VR but also unease of RL social media / global media. I don't have a science brain or a computer science brain just a wild imagination so I like to attempt to know how things work within a simulated environment, like reverse engineer it for my own understanding. Human behaviour and use of simulation is another interest. I mastered in Creative writing so the memoir interwoven in "Dawn...", is also fascinating to me. He was interviewed by another great asker of questions, Fridman on his podcast, (on Youtube), it is typically hours long but as with his podcast guests, generally, very intriguing information on the rabbit hole that is virtual reality, life the universe and beyond! Learning to understand a little of how it's done has cultivated a lot more respect for the magnitude of expertise going into it.
  11. No the more I read of Lanier the more I understand of what can and can't be done within virtual words and why - my hybrid, driveable camper / boat home for example, remains the stuff of dreams!
  12. No this is a $10 fireplace with the flue are removed you can get it from here: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/ADL-GINEVRA-FIREPLACE/18585593 - they also supplied the art
  13. Thanks @Nando Yip - your underwater gardens are a treat! Did you create that large atmospheric painting there? I would like that!
  14. A mess about with a Newbrooke 512 this evening...
  15. Inside, outside, upside and underside - what have you done with your linden houseboat and what is the view like? Here are some of mine over the years...be particularly good to see some more underwater gardening there have been some great ones on the forum in the past. I tried it a few times but am still floundering...
  16. One of my more recent ones, (Colorado Camper), I think I had about 100 li left before I switched this up again...
  17. Custom version of this, (its great as it is but when I learned more about linking items inside vehicles I made my own design), https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/1912-Wheeled-House/15690934 I usually start at the rez zone area here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Dimanche/189/113/23. Also love to start journeys from here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Red Hook/96/127/33 - preference on steam trains and again I like the Victorian areas as well as log and camper areas for travelling because I don't like sand that much and my brain hasn't extended to Chalets or further yet...
  18. Thanks for bumping up this thread - I believe it should stay alive!
  19. To whomever it concerns, thanks for naming the fantasy swamp Artax!
  20. The beginnings of a living room and the obligatory archery target...
  21. Fine line to know what is happening although if I wanted to subtly mess with a neighbour so that they had zero comeback, (I could just gaslight them if they approached me), this would be one way of messing with their head or possibly get them to move on. Personally I am having an issue with a neighbour on mainland - keeps moving their sky platform right next to mine. They are not breaking any rules but each time I move my platform for privacy theirs almost immediately moves to be right alongside mine. Not wrong, but unnerving. Each time I try to get away, there it is.
  22. I am a solitary decor and photos weirdo too and although no one situated close has done this I often fly about and happen on stuff that looks just like what I've shared publicly but as to who did it originally? I can't tell, I just move on because I know my inspiration ideas are usually from rare external sources. Taking it as a compliment is the only real way to be at ease with it in your case, I come across many people who have absolutely no clue what they actually like and it is easier for them to duplicate something good!
