  1. I like the darkness and the subdued hue of it all!
  2. I went straight in for the name a region auction, (there were two that year), with something I knew had been a roundabout figure for the winner of the one the previous year. No one outbid me, I got my region and I made an agreeable donation.
  3. It might be part of early next year SL Living Expo also if it is not featured at this one perhaps
  4. You can make or buy animations - there are lots on the MP - and if you use a system such as AV sitter you can easily add and subtract them if you have a mod furniture. If you are familiar with using animation menus in furnitures you already have then it is easy to learn - the AV sitter documentation is here if you see it is very easy to follow https://avsitter.github.io/ you put the required items inside the contents and work from a menu and local chat
  5. You can see some existing theme homes all together in the falling snow here: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Lights of Hope Linden/129/251/24 - but as for new ones, not yet as far as I can tell...but, (edit), I would watch those green unnamed squares around the expo on the map, if anything IS coming surely it will be one of those. I watched Derrick and Abnor magic snow Bellisseria across the map into one of those connecting spaces earlier so who knows?
  6. The expo just opened - first on the buying list before any new house things - the Patch bear!
  7. Excellent, there is so much to see and buy! Please come vote for our homes at Lights of Hope sim in amongst your shopping, we would appreciate that! 😉
  8. Most are aware of this event I know but just in case and to do my part - countdown to the Expo! It is looking very spectacular over there, lots of stalls and merchants and people are working really hard - it starts this Friday!
  9. It is really easy when you get going - AV sitter has great documentation - easy to follow
  10. It is okay, I realised the snark I can see frustrations others have with it, I find the option of the Plus quite agreeable at the moment - sandbox option would be good as well as your 512 option being an LH, I can see that
  11. They can't call people like myself who are budgeting their virtual life "minus members" though- that opens up something unethical. I know I could stay PP but I have re evaluated what I want to spend on SL rather than pushing the top of what I can spend. I pay monthly though too as I fluctuate quick.
  12. I always press the "cancel request" button if I want to go back to my previous premium level right away. I chose Plus to get me through this harsh financial winter, it meant no LH but as I need to focus on other things that is okay as LH can be one of my largest distractions and it allows me to keep my existing 512 mainland for building so I can still be a part of events and remain a premium member. I pay a tiny amount of rent for another parcel which allows me land rights and the same prim allowance of a LH 1024 but I put my 35li build on it and I can have a fully decorated home with a fully landscaped and seasonal garden - snow and all the other seasons. So for some situations they can make the Plus work quite well, in fact it came in at a very good time for me.
  13. Giving a shout out to The Christmas Event - open now - as well as hundreds of merchants and a special tree lot many have hidden a $10 hunt prize on their stalls http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/The Christmas Event/27/128/23
  14. If you stick to no large add ons and no outside decor you can do quite a bit. I did this on 175 and it was before I learnt how to link and remove scripts. I've seen others do some great work on linden homes but I guess it is tempting to go large with the inside and the outside rather than pick just one.
  15. Thanks @Elena Core! I do need to learn proper linking to save on allowance I always do exterior first, interior then "prune" the exterior to balance them out but still end up a little sparse inside!
  16. The interior is done to some degree, I have 3 li left. This was another go at creating maximal look both in and out. I am not a master at linking things am still learning that one...
  17. Went overboard on the garden here a bit but the view inspired me I can't believe some of the camper spots available at the moment, so many lush ones
  18. One - a camper and a nice little 512 on mainland. Live in the UK and feeling a pinch.
  19. I think the algorithm seems happy with futuristic ruins with trees and plants growing from it for the theme after ranch as that is what I got myself on the day I posted the first one, so the plot thickens... I also ran "what does Gov Linden look like?" - and the result was similar to the X-Files Cigarette Smoking Man.
  20. That made me curious so I put some prompts through nightcafe ai - here are the predictions... "Bellisseria New Linden Home Theme" was the text prompt...
  21. Someone left this falls view camper which was too hard to resist taking over - I am making a little grove I find these Olive trees are great for Autumn look but maybe not when the Winter hits (advice needed) I know I have tree and landscape friends out there made a shaky start to the inside I always go with wenge floors and trim around this time of year but that sets me off in a dark palette when I could benefit trying some other variations...
  22. Not wanting it to be so easy or too difficult here is mine - XXXIX, CLXXXI, XL by a steep cascade with free gift and rabbit that will shout at you. And to add of course that you will need to know that I am both a tribe and a Lake.
  23. No this is not my costume it is my 15 year plus original avatar / account, the one I was born in! She loves Halloween, she can be herself!
  24. I used that greenhouse too at my previous Babbage parcel, I love it! I switched up a little and used the Compulsion cottage for the current parcel...
