When you purchase lindens from the website. It doesnt update in world to your viewer right away unless you do something to make the viewer poll your account (that is if you are in world at the time you puchased lindens) Have somone give you 1 linden. Or relog Or Pay somone one linden. The Funds should be there. It just has not been updated to your viewer yet

I assume you mean without an adequate video card Yes there are second life clients that are built without the graphics.. One is called Metabolt. Most people use this viewer when they do not have the graphics card to support the main viewer or, for an office work environment You can find Many other options to download on the Second Life wiki @ http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Third_Party_Viewer_Directory

They stopped accepting Pre-Paid and gift cards... If you are using either of these then it will not be accepted

Use the Classifieds. paid ads show up on the side bar in V2. Describe the group in detail and list it in personal or wanted. Using the right keeywords in your descrition will make it show up on a lot of searches. like Roll play, clan, and other keywords that users will use to search to find the type of activity they are looking for (yours) this will help you target your audience directly probably start an add for 500 a week and see how it goes. And Socialize a lot

They do not take the money from Lindens. You will have to have USD balance and they will deduct it from that If you do not have a USD balance you will have to SELL your lindens and keep the cash on your account. You would have been better off leaving the money in Pay-Pal and have them use that as your payment method. You can authorzie it By buying lindens and then have to sell the lindens. you lost a bit of money

Get a split proffit script and put in the vendor and then use Donation L:indens Avatar key as the proffit receiver and all money will go directly to the avatar. Set it for the percentage you like You can do the same thing with a donation box on your land or in store

Are you using the default Cache location ? If so try making your own Cache folder in your documents folder or anywhere you chose and then open preferences and network tab change your cache path

Eh. I have a busy region with 30 to 70 users at a time in it . And my wife had about 15-20 horses. Ameretto horses, along with the mall. The sim didn't really experience any mjore lag than before.. Depending on what time of the day this was. There were rolling restarts on the grid yesterday

I doubt you will get a solid answer here. But the fact that there is no solid way to ban users alternate accounts for prevention is the very reason users have taken it in their own hands and created products that will do it for them

I remember back in 2006 the grid attacks with self replicating objects. At times it had shut the grid down for 12 hours at a time to clean up. The whole grid was covered with prims lol Glad those days are gone.. But it still is not handled at the region level like it should

Just be careful using someone else groups or place to recruit for your own group. And if you Drop notecards on people without talking to them then it is like sitting down to dinner and a telemarketer calls your home phone. Socialize with them and build that way. It is better than getting a bunch of people angry

Everyone is struggling to make it. The economy is hell on most people and after 3 years of recession it will start to mount up around this time. You may start seeing more drop offs. Price of gas going up sky high. People have to chose from RL necessities or an online gaming. Linden Lab didn't make 30% staff cut just because things are booming

Eh It didnt work for me the first time But it was important enough for me to try again and worked great. Regardless of Sl borking up now and then still won't stop me from trying again

Make sure you are not using a Pre-Paid card or a Gift Card. Those are no longer accepted.

Lol That's just crazy, no way it is against TOS. In fact LL has set it up to where you can sell items from a box without scripts lol

They are probably using a bunch of proxy hubs. hard to catch..
