Maybe for the same reason(s) the right never does either. At least in the US the right never does. Every time they come into power (like now) they (the right in the US) destroys anything that is already in place and far better than what the right offers those of us who are "have nots". Then when they are no longer in power, we have to start all over again because they set us back 100 years. "Socialism" worked for First Nations people for more than 40,000 years. Not because of the relatively small population size but because people knew that was the best way to stay alive. Everyone had food in the belly, clothing on their backs, shelter from the weather because they worked for everyone, not just themselves and/or their families. Frankly, people who can trace their ancestry back to Eurasia have their way of thinking so ingrained that I don't think they can change it. Which means nothing will ever change. Not really. Certainly not for the better or for the good of the people as a whole. I don't except you to understand where I'm coming from but maybe what I have said will allow you to change your perspective a little bit.

@Dakota Linden I do when I can figure out which dropdown to use under Reason for Flag. Not as Advertised - Incorrect Permissions does not show in the dropdown and it will not let me change the Flag Category from Listing Violations. Not sure why that is. Never had the Flag Cat. grayed out like this before. Since it won't let me do a snip, the two closest to that are Item Not as Advertised and Spam or Disallowed Listing Practices. Which one should I choose?

I had to turn the music down because the clash was so jarring I couldn't watch it with the music. I did like the Lady Godiva silhouette though. If that's the kind of thing people are wearing to clubs in SL I'm glad I quit going to them years ago. lol

Yes, even if someone is banned from a parcel or region nothing is returned unless the owner of the parcel or region (or management) does so deliberately. Things just don't return to someone's inventory on their own.

IMO, all gachas, regardless of item or "playable" on the MP, are annoying. Why? Because I do not purchase no copy items, nor will I jump through a creator's hoops to get one that is copy/mod/no trans. Gachas should be confined to inworld machines rather than cluttering up the MP. But no one gives a crap about that. Certainly not LL.

That kind of thing is one of the reasons (blatant abuse) I use the MP more as a catalog than to make purchases. The only creators I will buy from on the MP are the ones whose work I know. If it's someone I'm not familiar with their work and they don't have an inworld store with the items on display where I can inspect the quality of their work, I won't buy from them. I refuse to enable anyone's crappy "business practices".

I'm not allowed more than $1300 US gross income a month if I want to keep eating. Can you pay your rent/mortgage and all your bills on that? I can't. I also live in one of the cheapest places possible in this state. My rent goes up every freakin year and I can't afford to move this hunk of junk I live in. A minimum of $10,000 is what it would take after finding either another park that has space or buying land to put it on, none of which I have the money to do. If I sell it I become homeless in short order. 1980 models don't bring near the amount of money you might think. I can't work until I get treatment and I have no idea when that will be because I have other health issues that have to be taken care of first. Some of you just don't have any idea just how good you really have it. JFC on a broken pogo stick what do you want from me? My freakin life history? Screw you and the horse you rode in on, the horse you ride out on and any horse you ever freakin ride.

Never said we didn't have it decent. I've been in games like that. Needless to say I never paid for an account much less continued to play the game because I simple did not and do not have that kind of money. There's $7 in my bank account right now to last me the rest of the month. I may lose my SNAP benefits and my Medicaid because certain people think I deserve to starve and die a horrible, painful death because I won't be able to get the life saving treatment I need. It's not like I expect to get everything for nothing, but nickel and diming me to death isn't going to cut it and it damn sure isn't going to keep me as a customer. I had enough of staring at the 4 walls because I couldn't afford a tv much less cable in my younger days. I have no desire to go back to that but the way things are going, I might as well find a frikkin cave to live in for what little time I'll have left. Didn't do me a damn bit of good to start working at age 14.

I used to post using nothing but smilies/emojis at times on a forum that no longer exists. Not once did anyone ever ask for a translation because they understood it without needing to ask.

I seriously doubt they would even consider the idea. For some unknown reason (excuse), LL doesn't seem to think it would be a good idea to give basics any kind of rewards. To them, we're second class residents and don't deserve anything. They'd be more than happy to take from us though as they attempted fairly recently with announcing they were going to take groups from basics yet increase groups for premiums. Which made no sense at all given the issues with chat lag in groups, among other issues like region crossings. Decreasing the amount for basics and then turning right around and increasing it for premiums wasn't alleviating the problem, it was exacaberating it. Not to mention pissing basics off. There were some people who even went so far as to quit SL because of that. Can't say I blame them.

RL other half is a two finger typist but I'm the one with the arthritis. It doesn't bother me much most of the time but winters can be brutal at times. I think it may have something to do with being a pianist in my early years and typing on a daily basis now. Of course I "pop my knuckles" from time to time to release the nitrogen gas that gets trapped in the joints. Of course I have other joints that pop on their own like my knees and ankles. In my younger days I'd get out of bed to snap , crackle, pop and it wasn't Rice Krispies. It's been decades since the last time it happened though so it seems to have stopped for good.

I didn't just buy Ls though. I "owned" a homestead for years at $125 US per month. Which adds up to $1500 US annually. That may not seem like much to most but for us, it's a lot of money to shell out every month when your income is below national poverty level. That is why I can never afford to live alone again. My landlords were not making any profit off my homestead. Every bit of it went to LL because grandfathered when they jacked up the land prices way back when. Hmmm... that's not a bad idea really but LL would never go for it. For one of two reasons. Either their finances are not in order or they're just flat out greedy. Not sure which I'd prefer. Both are equally scary because they both mean an end to SL sooner rather than later.

Voice is pointless for those of us who are deaf or have hearing loss and/or tinnitus. Facial recognition? No way. LL would charge us out the ass for that.

That's been done already. It's why I didn't stay in SL after the memorial service. Back then they were charging for pretty much everything. You couldn't sneeze without having to pay for the sneeze, the tissue, the air you used to blow your nose, the trash can to dispose of the tissue, the bag in the trash can, and the maintenance-guy-that-empties-the-trash's salary. And now they are well on their way to doing it again. They'll be nickel and diming me right out of SL. Again. Only this time will be the last. Not that they give a tinker's damn whether I stay or go even if their retention rate has been in the toilet for 15 years. They don't care. They got theirs. And there's always another sucker.

I hope LL is ready for the fallout from that. Frankly, I'm about at the end of my rope being treated like a second class citizen by LL simply because I don't have the kind of money everyone else seems to have. Really pisses me off too after all the thousands of USD I've thrown at SL over 16 years. They have no appreciation for those who have been here a long time and contributed to their bank accounts, directly of indirectly. Honestly Linden Lab, you're 20 years old. Grow up!

Ditto. But I will not pay 50Ls per event on recurring events. LL has only themselves to blame for not doing the right things at the right times. So many things should have been "cleaned up" 10 years ago. There's another old saying, don't put off today what you can do tomorrow because tomorrow may never come.

It better not be since LL is charging basic accounts 50Ls to post a single event. That is 50Ls per event.

Have filed a support ticket for that? Could be an issue with your account that LL can easily fix. It has happened before and LL was able to fix it. Not to me but to people I know/knew.
