As long as you aren't killing off the good bacteria I see no problem with that. I know it sounds really icky (to put it mildly), yet, there are bacteria that are not harmful and are actually helpful. Both internally and externally. Yep. It's just that a lot of people are not aware they can be arrested and thrown in jail for running around naked inside their own home with the curtains open.

Yeah nah. Not going to jail for that. There have been too many cases of the peeping toms/thomasinas taking the victim to court and winning the case so that the victim had to pay. Standing in front if a window with the curtains/blinds open, stark naked, is illegal in some states. It's considered exposure even if you are in the privacy of your own home and they are looking in from outside, say a neighbor. Which, imo, is pretty damned stupid.

We'd already figured that out. I just had too much on my mind so it didn't really sink in until this morning that we can use the hole to drain. A pan with a drain in the center would mean having to cut yet another hole. The hole that is already there isn't small. I could almost put my head through it. Things just don't work the same in a single wide mobile home as they do on in house as far making repairs and replacing things go. The materials are different.

You worked at the Cornelius OR store didn't you. Their counting machine breaks down all the time. I used to work there.

There is a good chance Oregon and Washington will secede if California does. Would the three become part of Canada? Maybe. It Texas goes, the rest of the south would join in and likely form their own country. What a mess.

The new water heater arrived after our internet was down for who knows how long. It was fine when I went to bed and was down when I got up. It just came back a little while ago. Tech support people need to stop treating customers (who actually do know wtf they are talking about) as if they are stupid. Now all we have to do is figure out how we're going to get the old one out and the new one in. I think it was Lindal that said hot water heaters should be replaced every 10 years. While that is true, I've had water heaters last far longer than 10 years. It's not something everyone can afford to replace that often. The heater itself never leaked just the hoses the idiots used. Dipsticks used a pair of pliers or something on the hoses which damaged the hoses (weakened) and those spots where they gripped so hard eventually develop holes from the pressure. That is what has caused every leak we have had since we moved in over 2 years ago. This is the reason why we will have to completely replumb. We will have to do it ourselves. Plumbers are too damned expensive and we just can't afford one. Not to mention the fact that no one is going to come here to do the work with Covid-19 stay at home orders in place. Oh and here's another stupid thing the idiots did or rather didn't do. There is no pan under the heater just bare flooring with a huge hole for the pipe to run through so we'll have to replace that too and get a pan.

I appreciate the thought but as I told Linidal the sinks are full of dishes. I don't have the counter space. And there are too many corners to go around. This is a single wide mobile home. You can't do things the same way as you can with an actual house.
