  1. They could make an under age avatar with avatars in the Inventory Library.
  2. The lower concurrency rate may also be because of nicer weather, a better economy, or more warfare in RL. Most likely all of the above, imo.
  3. Ag*play as it is normally defined definitely is a kink, though it might not always be sexual. It is representing as a different age than one is or with someone who is doing so. The Adult Child Diaper Lovers represent a type of ag*play, which might not be covered by the new rules. There is a chance some people will AR these folks, though, so they should be careful of how they look and where they go.
  4. Most people don't even read the TOS or come onto the forums. It might take months or years for them to know how they've changed. If they don't use a child avatar or normally interact with them, their ignorance won't matter. If they accidentally or out of shear ignorance do something against the TOS, I hope LL warns them before banning them. If they're doing naughty shenanigans they know they shouldn't be doing, then they deserve to be ARed and banned, whether they've read the new rules or not.
  5. If you weren't doing anything wrong before, I don't think you'll need to worry. The only differences now: 1. Child and obviously under 18 avatars may not be on Adult land. If you accidentally land on Adult land, you can teleport away. 2. Child and obviously under 18 avatars may not be naked or around other avatars that are naked. Even if you're wearing a skin that doesn't have undies painted on, if you find yourself accidentally naked in public or around others who are naked, teleport away. If you have a home parcel, set it to Parcel Privacy for added security. 3. Don't use genital attachments or suggestive clothing on a child or under 18 avatar. Don't use RLV either, especially if it could accidentally capture or force your avatar to do something. 4. If you have your own parcel or share land with someone who owns it, be sure you can eject and ban people who might show up naked or suggestively dressed. 5. Don't buy things for a child avatar that are inappropriate for them, such as skins with genitalia or genital attachments. If you already have such in your inventory, LL has not said they will delete them. Just don't wear them. You could box them and label them as "tax stuff" if you're worried that someone might see your inventory.
  6. Unpopular opinion: If you don't own the land, group or venue, you won't get in trouble for not snitching.
  7. I think people usually reduce what they spend in SL for economic reasons, not to make some kind of grand statement - at least not for long. "I'm quiting SL" and "I'm only going Basic from now on!" statements are mostly just flouncing. If a person thinks they might get caught doing something they shouldn't here, maybe they'll go to The Sims or Open Sim for awhile, but they'll get bored and come backto SL, maybe with a new account.
  8. Judging everyone regardless, Karen stays ALERT.
  9. Evidence in an AR would be a picture and/or a copy of local chat, group chat, or an IM exchange in which you are one of the parties. "I heard this person is engaging in ag*play" or "I think this avatar looks suspect because they're short, wearing pigtails and have small breasts" are not valid reasons to file an AR, imo.
  10. Actually you can. Sex in public in Moderate regions is against the TOS, but nudity and lewd gestures aren't. Just think of all the ass-slapping and lewd chat in clubs. Even in stores on Moderate land, people use suggestive and lewd gestures.
  11. Technically all minor-presenting avatars are no longer allowed in Adult regions. This includes babies up to 17 year olds. However, there's no way to really distinguish between a 16 year old vs. an 18 year old (as long as someone doesn't say their avatar is under 18). I think young teens in Adult regions are going to be tricky to identify and report, but as long as an avatar (including their profile and dialog) clearly looks like a minor to you, you can report them and let Goverance sort it out.
  12. Are you committed to using Velour skins or open to other skin creators? Lumae skins have 3 breast sizes. Most of their skins have some Velour tones, as well as their own, but they don't have many face choices. You could demo their Velour body skins with other face skins, but their head skins don't blend easily with other body skins (not enough neck fade zone). I like Nuve skins too ( which also has Velour tones as well as their own now). I don't remember how many breast sizes they come in, since I only use the mid size.
  13. I'd want to report the ad. * * * I wonder though if someone who wants to represent as a little person (dwarf) might use a body intended for children or tweens, but with an adult head? Surely they should be able to do this if they show in their profile and with their body, clothing, etc. that they are an adult.
  14. We can be suspicious as much as we like, but ARs and bans need evidence. It would be very wrong to punish people based on unsupported suspicions.
  15. The owners of family-friendly nude beaches will have to change their rules or the type of venue. They should be in violation of the TOS if they don't. (Is it clear in the new TOS that those who allow TOS violations on their land are also in violation?) They can keep the beach as a nude adult beach or as a family-friendly non-nude beach. Even if the land owner's intent were to facilitate sexual hookups between adult-presenting avatars and child-presenting avatars, users who want that don't need public nudity. It's still going to happen in private IMs and "behind closed doors", but at least it will be less visible, which will help protect Linden Lab's reputation.
  16. You have to buy the product in order to review it. In had a friend create a simple prim objects and put it on MP for cheap. He was new in SL, so I bought it and gave it a good but fair review. I don't think this is any worse than having friends vote for you in club contests (a practice that used to be very common). Offering a rebate on the ad seems wrong to me too.
  17. Mine would be. Only the reviewer knows if they're being truthful - whether they give a good or a bad review.
  18. Thanks. That's how I was initially flagging this kind of stuff. Then I flagged a couple of transparent dresses for not being listed as Adult, even though items made for Tweensters shouldn't be Adult anyway.
  19. I don't think it's wrong. These rebates tend to be offered in the store group, so it's basically a bonus for being a group member. It helps the merchant boost their ratings and visibility on MP.
  20. I think some people are worried about being ARed. Others are wondering who they should AR.
  21. Suddenly, intuitive naked gazelles shudder. LIONS
