  1. Nudity in art is already restricted to Moderate in SL.
  2. You can send a notecard to any skin maker to ask them what they think. I'd send them a link to the meeting with Tommy and Keira. I wouldn't expect them to say too much about their thoughts to customers, however. The creator of Nuve skins has already been making and selling BOM underwear and bathing suits, so he might get on board with selling skins with modesty undies included. I doubt the teen avatar market is big enough for most skin makers to consider it being worth their time though.
  3. Maybe we'll see a re-emergence of add-on mesh breasts?
  4. Every age doesn't have to be represented in SL. If 13 to 17 is too contentious, avatars could just skip from 12 to 18 years old. No more Junior High schools, and high school is only for 18 year old seniors. ( The younger students might just be bots or mannequins.)
  5. This sounds to me like a good, workable solution. If one uses alpha cuts through a HUD, the cuts over the genitalia, butt crack, nipples and areola could be solid grey, rather than having the BOM compatibility texture.
  6. The "naughty parts" on most mammals are not under their fur, though they don't have to be shown on an avatar either. My TWI wolf has an option to pee by squating or lifting a leg (I think), but those parts are not included in a basic avatar. They are optional add-ons that could be bought separately.
  7. I don't expect ferrals to be wearing panties and bras. I mean, where would a bra even go on a feral wolf?
  8. Why do you have so much difficulty in understanding that RL laws are aimed at *depictions of children* in sexual situations. The laws will be applied whether those depictions are photographs, drawings, cartoons, or AI.
  9. Adult if human, but a child by elven standards. (Note the ears signify that she's either elven or Vulcan, probably a teenager if Vulcan.)
  10. These are pre-mesh avatars, which are harder to make look like a real child or a real adult. By the standards of 2012 or earlier, I would think the first 2 avatars are supposed to represent children, the 3rd is supposed to represent somewhere between 10 to 12 years old, and the 4 is supposed to be a teen. These distinctions are based largely upon hair and clothing.
  11. Moved comment to discussion thread.
  12. I loved it when my former housemate & I were both in SL. We would both be doing our own things in SL, but we both understood SL & could talk about it. I could also help her with stuff, like buying & rezzing her house, so she wouldn't accidentally delete it. One time I was talking her through something in SL while she was at her desk and I was sitting on the sofa. She asked if I was going to explain in text or on voice. I laughed & said we're in voice already.
  13. YouTube is also more dangerous for children than our little platform is.
  14. Second Life restricts access to users 16 and up (except in rare cases with closed regions). Currently it's easy for kids to say they're older to be able to use the platform, but I expect LL will be implementing some kind of age verification system pretty soon. It's also a much smaller platform than Meta, so I don't think we should worry too much here.
  15. The last time I checked, these dolls were free at COCO. They have several mesh doll avatars, a few free clothes for them, and other clothes you can buy for them.
  16. Yeah. The Senra bodies, hair and clothing are already unisex. (I don't understand why some people wanted another unisex version.) If LL thinks nipples are sexual, why can't skin creators just leave them off, rather than having to add a bra top? I think a gender-less child skin should be smooth like a doll.
  17. No. They look odd, but heads that are proportionally larger in relation to the body look younger.
  18. With Lelutka heads it's really easy to adjust the forehead to chin ratio & all other sliders that make a face look older or younger. I thought Kaya looked too young when I first got it, but with a little adjustment, it looks just fine on my avatars.
  19. My youngest looking avatar picture I already had uploaded to the forums.
