I cant figure out how to Rezz a mount so I can ride it
bee Baroque replied to Eveeoni's question in Inventory
you need to be on build enabled land in order to rez anything. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Opening-boxes/ta-p/700185#Section_.1.4 add info/comments to your post by using options > edit. eta: if you believe something you have purchased has errors (as in stuff advertised as included cannot be found) contact the merchant and explain the issue. sl sometimes messes up. -

hi rachelmarla, i wouldn't be surprised if this behavior is connected with what you mention in your first thread here: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Avatar/Can-t-change-my-skin/qaq-p/1019953 perhaps you can combine the two threads? i think these two issues may be connected. ps: no mod attachments can still be taken off... op: perhaps you can close this thread and add the info you have here to your first thread which i linked to? add info/comments to your post by using options > edit.

Is it possible to access one's inventory without using the viewer?
bee Baroque replied to af41's question in Inventory
@lexie: in both "answers" main page and "inventory" category page i see it solved by valerie at the time of posting this. is it assumed behaviour to list the last poster there? no big deal, but i am curious. -

Stop leaving 1-star reviews on items you didn't receive!
bee Baroque replied to Aili Panthar's topic in Merchants
MissEmily23 wrote: A lot of merchants edit there reviews (some how) anyway. that is not possible. what you are seeing are the remains of the way reviews/ratings were on xstreet. you could rate a purchased item there without having to leave an actual review. these got carried over when the new marketplace opened. that is why you are seeing way more ratings than reviews. a merchant can request to have an abusive review removed, but we are not able to edit the reviews our customers leave. that would be something, huh -

no, it's not possible. would be neat, though :matte-motes-nerdy: -
Where can I find the SL development roadmap?
bee Baroque replied to Publik's question in Everything Else
lmao :D -
newer accounts have only one user name and if using a viewer with first name/last name login field you need to put "Resident" as your last name. add info/comments to your post by using options > edit.

i am sorry this happened to you. and i totally agree with what you're saying. i just want to advice you to remove the seller's name from the post, as it is against community guidelines. don't want you to be in trouble on top of all this. i hope you get your money refunded and that this person gets what's coming to them.

How can you disable anti idle in secondlife?
bee Baroque replied to AmyRose Starfall's question in Controls
"anti idle devices" are, dare i say it, a scam. don't fall for it. when i was new, way back when (4th rez day today btw \o/), i thought the only option was to get one of them, and i think i also had to join a group in order for it to work, or something, my memory fails me atm. i think it's really low, scamming money out of people for basic functions that are available for everyone. :smileymad: follow advice already given. this does not have to cost money. add info/comments to your post by using options > edit. -

if you're unsure if you got all the pieces selected you can always move the build slightly (once), just enough to see if all the pieces follow. if they don't you can always hit ctrl+z and it will snap back and if you have a good memory you will know where the stray prims are and go pick them up as well. i do this all the time. remember that the last prim selected before you link will become the root prim and that may become an issue. in a structure there may be prims that need to be set to phantom, or scripted prims that can't be linked or need to be the root prim in order to work properly. if it's messed up you can always just rez another copy, if you have one in your inventory. add info/comments to your post by using options > edit.

bee Baroque replied to Phydeaux Felisimo's question in Land
did they at some point send a lm inworld? i just answered someone the other day about this, and referred to the information here: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Linden-Home-FAQ/ta-p/700101#I_didn.27t_receive_my_confirmation_email._What_should_I_do.3F where it is stated a lm is sent to them inworld. perhaps they need to update the info there? or i may have misunderstood? -

bee Baroque replied to Ivanna Doobie's question in Inventory
oh crap well, yes, wise words from peewee there. the cabin was returned to him, then, as he was the owner of it. happy to hear you guys found the cabin! \o/ make sure your friend locks the build this time as for the greenhouse - on the plus side you should get a healthy amount of vitamin d from now on! i hope she at least throws in a madras for you if you feel the issue has been resolved could you please mark the question as answered? it will help others who search for answers after deleting their friends stuff and get sent to the greenhouse 8) -
Is there a second life for serious beginners?
bee Baroque replied to carolanne7678's question in Everything Else
difficult to know what advice to give as you don't say what it is you find complicated, but if it is of any help do switch to the basic mode. here's some info on basic mode and what limitations it brings: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Basic-mode-FAQ/ta-p/733541 add info/comments to your post by using options > edit.
