  2. does this still happen after you detach and re-attach the bracelet?
  3. i recently dropped a gift on my group members. it proved to be a very popular gift and people joined the group exclusively to get the gift. on a group that has open enrollment and is free to join i was still told from people who for some reason weren't able to find the gift that it was unfair that they couldn't get it. :smileyindifferent:

  5. hm, as long as there are a minimum of two members in the group it should not have been disbanded Disbanding or deleting groups While there's no explicit mechanism for simply killing a group while it has members, a group owner can still disband a group by kicking everyone else out, making sure nobody new can join the group, and (optionally) leaving it himself. After 48 hours with a membership total of one or zero, the group is disbanded automatically. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Creating-and-disbanding-groups/ta-p/700053#Disbanding_or_deleting_groups add info/comments to your post by using options > edit.

  7. not exactly sure what you are asking, but i am guessing you are wondering how to get inworld? in that case you need to download a viewer to log in with https://secondlife.com/support/downloads?lang=en-US add info/comments to your post by using options > edit.
  8. try switching off "local lights" in preferences. that works for me. a little tedious to do this every time, but it works. there might be other ways to do that, but this is what i know. perhaps others can chime in here. add info/comments to your post by using options > edit. eta: hm, ok that was weird. i know what light you are referring to, and when i switch off local light, so i have sun and moon only that light does go away. not sure what else to try, then, sorry.
  9. hm, that's weird. i could have sworn i read that a few days ago. i know there was a meeting the 7th, i was there.

  11. (peeks into ceka's closet to find out just how depraved she is) i loved your reference :matte-motes-wink-tongue:

  13. what they meant was you need an ao. a hud isn't exclusively used for an ao (animation overrider). a hud have so many different uses; ao is just one of them. http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/HUD newbies are not a pain - noobs are :matte-motes-evil: - but you are not a noob, you're a newbie. welcome to sl btw =)
  14. no modify (only resize scripted) hair is a joke. :smileymad: unless you have the exact same skull shape as the one the hair was created on it will never fit as good as it could and should. resize scripted hair only gives you the option to change the size proportionally, so if after resizing say it leaves you with a strand in your eye you're **bleeped**. and forget about wearing hats or similar headwear - you'll never be able to tuck away hair that sticks out. i'd say spend your money on gear you can actually make fit.
  15. please - more info :matte-motes-nerdy: you downloaded it ok. did you install it? did that go well? at what point do things fall apart? add info/comments to your post by using options > edit.
  16. you say everything went ok when choosing the house, and then it moved on the payment process. did the payment process go ok as well? if something went wrong there then the house selection won't go through.
  17. newer accounts with only one user name need to add "Resident" as last name when logging in on viewers with first name/last name fields. add info/comments to your post by using options > edit. and welcome to sl =)
  18. if it's high prim hair it's a nightmare to tint all the prims at once and make it stick on the first attempt. some stubborn pieces will almost always revert on their own. it could be your connection or a laggy sim making it harder, but i'd recommend a good portion patience and doing it it sections rather than trying to cover it all in one go. add info/comments to your post by using options > edit.
  19. [...]or suggest some things he might like to do to himself[...] you tell him, nyll! \o/ koodies for that one alone, but a great answer all over =)
  20. SelenaRose Dragonash wrote: it's the one that should be deleted. wondering why it "should be deleted". if you are experiencing rezzing issues or having some other kind of trouble with your avatar tell us a little more about it. it's unclear to me what you are trying to achieve. some possibly useful info for whomever may be reading this; the avatar has four basic components that can never be taken off, only replaced with another one. and that is shape, skin, eyes and (system) hair. no one hardly wears the system hair anymore the way it originally was intended - well, except philip linden - because we now have prim hair, so the hair mesh sliders are all zeroed out (and the hair texture sometimes replaced with a transparent one) and only used for shaping the brows (and beard/jawline on males? unsure of this) and work as a blank canvas when wearing prim hair. it's therefore perhaps better known as bald cap/base or eyebrow shaper. but it is still there, you just can't see it. add info/comments to your post by using options > edit. or wait, didn't philip get a make over...? http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Inworld/Philip-Linden-2-0-We-have-a-winner/ba-p/668911 :matte-motes-sunglasses-1: \o/

  22. unless you happen to stumble upon it by accident, i think the only way to catch it is by keep refreshing the page. over. and over. and over. and over. and over.
