Lumiya being listed in the TPV directory or not is irrelevant - the directory is not an official, endorsed or exhaustive listing of TPVs. Any assertions concerning its removal's effects (beyond reducing it to word of mouth or needing to look for it in a web search after that) are - therefore - irrelevant and conjecture at best, blatant falsehoods at worst. Trying to frame it otherwise is the attempt at revising history - beginning and end. No, I won't be going back and forth over this either. It is as stated - keep whatever agenda you may have out of here. As a final addition: This topic does not concern Lumiya and - as always referencing it is only relevant at this stage in a historical context. That is it. Move on already.

M'kay - not gonna bother reading past where I was quoted .... Point blank for you: The current systems do not truly allow you to appear offline - scripted systems can still see you and this is by design. That is how it was set up - Deal. With. It. Unless there is some specialized coding, even a Linden Account is under these same strictures. Main or minimap? Who cares? The dots are not marked. Beyond that there are existing controls already in place that work quite well enough - use them.

I popped it up, skimmed the majority of it. Pictures aside, I may have missed where second Life was named directly ... and it wouldn't be very relevant then either as the article itself is titled in a generic manner. Note, I have already stated I do not agree with the action taken. I am simply giving the apparent reasoning - something which took no more than ten seconds of thought to come to and utterly ignoring any deeper dive as such is not needed for this.

The article was not specifically concerning Second Life. It was an article concerning "Virtual Worlds" in general. Where it was hosted and who wrote it are considered irrelevant in this case. Not saying I agree with it but that is what appears to be the reasoning and it is consistent: If it is not specifically about Second Life, it is a no go. Meh.

Andro of varied types/expressions. I'd be more able to use Human/Humanoid form expressions then. I do have a fair few Anthro forms I use that - thanks to how they're set up - can easily express that they're an in-between.
-
Um ... I'd dearly love an in-between option that allowed one to have enough options ... ... I don't use Human/Humanoid forms for my Andro forms because of the use of a Female Shape/body as my base - it is so much harder to hide certain bodily parts on Human/Humanoid forms ... Even have to use the PG skins (when provided) for my Anthros. While not ideal, it does the job. Still means I have to be careful what forms I use and such.

Yeah ... no, it wasn't. The "metaverse" doesn't exist yet, thus no "future" to be discussed for it. Nothing more than a bag of ideologies being tossed around. -

If I am being honest ... In my own opinion? society needs to grow the heck up already. Second Life's protections are well more than enough - especially if people actually do their jobs when parenting. -
The Mobile Client I Actually Want

Absolutely irrelevant to having an actual, simultaneous log in of an account as described. It is also irrelevant to the ideas I was responding to.
