As people seem to be less and less patient, your idea would make even more newbies vanish after a few days. A lot of the ones i´ve met so far, have been in a absolute hurry to turn themselfes into mesh and to get a home. After 3 weeks or so, SL has already worn off for them and i never saw them online again. Now imagine, they would have to stick to a system avatar for 3 months, while they are surrounded by maitreya, lelutka, aeros and spanking addons... Cant imagine that woud work...

@JordanCarter1 Of course you also can rent a homestead from a landlord. Probably you will pay around 120-130 dollars/month. Still cheaper than going for a full region. But think about the amount of prims i mentioned earlier: full region - 20000, while a homestead offers 5000. As other already said, you maybe want to start with something not too crazy, as you dont know how its going to turn out over the next weeks and months. You want to start what? Getting a home for you and your sister? Go for a linden Home or rent a homestead parcel, or even a skybox, if you dont need to be at sea level. If you want to run a business, you need to check before, if its allowed, for example... Maybe you can give a few more details? Just writing one line in each post doesnt transfer a lot of information

It would be helpful, if you would tell us more about your requirements. How much space do you need? A whole sim, or just a parcel? Will you need a vast amount of prims? 20000 when renting/buying a whole private estate? Or are 5000 on a homestead enough for you? You need to know what you want to do there in advance, because you cant run an adult club on a G or M rated Sim parcel, for example.

While i hesitate to drive down a steep mountain with my bicycle, my avatar is very curious and way more brave than me, literarilly jumping out of a plane, only equipped with an disfunctional umbrella, and while free falling, managing to find a superhero rescueing her. I might be wrong, but If you click on a teleport link, it always should direct you to maps.secondlife.com, and there you have to hit the "visit this location" button. Try to be logged in in SL, before you hit that button. Then a popup should appear in your viewer, where you have to press the teleport button to get to the desired place.

Congrats. Finally someone made the calculation... As a very few of us already have pointed out, its possible to survive without premium, or its not even necessary at all. Think about, if you really need at least one of the "benefits" of being premium soooo bad. -Do you really need a linden home, even if you get one of the new ones? For the same money you pay monthly for premium, you also can get a 4.000 sqm homestead parcel, instead of just 1.000 sqm. Prim amount of 351 would stay the same. -How often do you go to premium areas/sandboxes? Is it worth it? -Are the premium gifts in any way better than the things from the marketplace you could buy with the money you would have left by not being premium? -How often do you have the need to use the live chat? Other sources for help would be the forum, groups, your landlord, and finally just opening a ticket. -It has to be mainland where your home is located at? There is a whole other world next to mainland, called private regions and homesteads. Often comes with less anarchy. Dont take my lines as a judgement over being or not being premium. I just see the rants about every day, and it makes me wonder, why so many people seem to need to be premium.
