 There are 2 easy ways to do it. Drag the snapshot from your inventory directly onto the prim - this will just texture the one face. Repeat to texture the other faces. Go into the EDIT menu, select the texture tab and drag the texture directly onto the texture window. Both of the above assume you have copy permissions for the texture.

Fixed - I had to change the login to agni (for the main grid) and that resolved it.

Arghhhh... since logging into aditi, I can no longer access the main grid on my pc, although I am fine using the laptop. I get the "unable to connect" message. I also seem to be unable to open a support case for log in issues and I am not a premium member. Can anyone help me please? Thanks - Emma P.S. i've relogged and other websites are working fine on the pc...

Hi Rc:) I had the same issue and found some advice - I think here in the forums - to mute something: an object / a person. That has done the trick for me. And then unmute again - hope it works for you too! Happy Christmas Emma:)

Hi Josh That'll teach me to read properly - I missed it was only viewed... duh ! I did wonder whether you viewing your item counts as "viewed" - still doesn't explain the disappearance however. Weirder and weirder! Emma:)

Hi Josh One explanation I can think of... the item was "no copy" - so you could sell it once only. Seems that even if you set the permissions differently, occasionally SL has hiccups where permissions revert... Emma

Hi Rose I find that things rezz a lot faster for me when I reduce the setting for my graphics to LOW on preferences and then do a custom setting to reduce draw distance to its lowest. As for keyboard vs mouse - I love my mouse and others love their keyboard... so I guess that's personal preference. Emma

Just wondering - so you get land without tier for premium membership: once you found some, can you rent it out and make more money from being a premium member in that way? Emma

Go to Advanced menu (CTRL ALT D), then choose debug, enter "rendervo" (you don't need to input the full RENDERVOLUMELOD), then choose something between 4 and 8 - or so I am told Emma

Hi November I am sorry that as a customer you are getting roped into Marketplace - Merchant issues. We all wish it would work without hitches of course. Over the last few weeks I had noticed several threads where - through issues such as a customer contacting them about a product, merchants discovered they had not actually been paid for items that had been delivered. It seems that merchants may not actually realise when this problem occurs and therefore it's difficult to track and feedback to the Commerce Team. I would therefore like to suggest that you contact the merchant with your transaction details so that they can contact the Commerce Team to have this issue investigated. Emma

Hi donnafs Look for some low prim furniture in second life - using tortured prims, sculpties and mesh it is possible to make nice looking furniture with very low prims. I believe there are several stores that specialise in this area. Emma

Thank you Innula - that makes perfect sense. I do love a problem that not only resolved but also understood !! Thank you also for pasting the work around script - I have a couple of questions about this: 1. am I to use this instead of the phantom child sculpt script or in addition to? 2. since it appears the script is removed after setting the prim, I am presuming that what it sets is a persistant prim property... would using a scrubber script remove this property also (I have been known to change my mind... hehehe). I think I might have found the problem: I was using a phantom child script for sculpties - once I removed all of these, my customer could rezz the build without further issues. (I am so very grateful for her patience and courtesy during this palaver.) So, thank you to Chosen and Innula, for getting me on the right track. And I will be eternally grateful that the whole build was just 17 prims ... Emma
