  1. ok, well I just got in there (had not been able to for about 8 hours - so don't know how long this window of opportunity will last this time). It's not showing a transaction made earlier today - which however has been sent to my email and is in the transaction history on dashboard... soo yes, seems that maybe there are more problems... BUT good to finally have an acknowledgement there is a problem from Linden Lab. Emma :\
  2. Hi guys :) Just the last week i have had 2 orders fail due to "User Exception" - from reading previous posts it appears that the explanation may be that the would-be purchaser did not have enough funds. However, one of the "user exceptions" was for a freebie item. Does anyone kow whether there has been an explanation from LL for this term please? Thanks! Emma :)
  3. Hi Sassy, thanks for your reply . I totally agree about setting IMs to email - I had already set this up. It's just extra hassle for customers to have to do notecards even to get a response. There is maybe a place for them if you have a tricky issue. Hopefully customers would contact me direct before writing about a problem in a review. So it's up to me to make it as easy as possible for me to get in touch with me in the first place. Of course I am hoping that the problems never arise in the first place!! Emma
  4. Awww... thank you very much for the good wishes, Bee And for your tip on sorting via ratings, too. Emma:)
  5. Thank you Arwen and Nyx. Having notification of when someone reviews my items is a feature I would find really useful. And, if the stars are 5 out of 5, then I am happy with just the rating. Anything less and I'd love to know why - ideally via IM or notecard to have a chance to sort things out, rather than finding out in a review. Emma
  6. Hi guys :) I am pretty new to selling... so I apologise if this total newbieism on my part...: I have just found a customer review - 6 days after it was posted!! Luckily it was a really nice one :)))... Sooooo, now I am wondering, is there a way to find out quickly whether I have had a review posted? I don't appear to have had an email from Marketplace about it. Especially if a review was pointing out some failing, I would like to respond to it very promptly and hopefully put things right with the customer. Emma :)
  7. Massively - less lag, group chat windows actually opening, messages getting posted !! Well done, Linden Lab ! Emma
  8. Hi Sorbet I love nPose, but I'm having major issues with the second avatar not being able to sit - and this despite trying several of the suggested workarounds (Pudenta Magic's, Howard Baxton's amongst others)... If you should be aware of any new fixes, I'd love to try them. Emma
  9. Hi Innula I've just started using MLP - thank you for the tip! Emma
  10. Ooooooooh I did wonder whether anything was getting fixed or just a glitch!!!! And this was a group with over 20,000 members... So this is excellent news - thank you Oscar and team :womanvery-happy:
  11. Thank you Guy! Funny thing is all three of these objects are single prim items with a component script in each (one is a huge globe, the other two 1m diameter or so items - so size doesn't seem to matter (hahahaha). The comoon thing is that they all have rotation scripts in them... Does anyone know whether the same happens with other rezzers, like rezz faux? But, apart from that, I do like Builders Buddy a lot - now I finally got round to learning it Emma
  12. Hi guys :) i have 3 rotating objects in a large(ish) build. They are contained in a rezz box using the Builders Buddy scripts. When rezzed, these three objects take about 3 - 5 minutes to adopt their "normal" position - i.e. as in position when stored for Builders Buddy. They all are at at 90 degree angle to the normal position. I have found a workaround - clicking on of the objects and sitting on the other two - lol. This nudges them instantly into the right position. Ideally, I would like to understand the problem and perhaps find a better solution than the current "workaround". Thank you! Emma :)
  13. Thank you Darrius for clarifying - and apologies for delayed response. Emma
  14. Amazing what a bit of re-reading does!!! Hahaha, all the info was there in the first place - I just didnt read it properly. All done now! Sends a big bunch of flowers and a lovely cake to Ishy - thank you. Emma
  15. Thanks again, Ishy - now the button is there saying "image" right under the "visit my store" button... and when I click the banner displays, but is there a way to get the banner to show on the page itself and click straight through to the store? Wipes the sweat from her brow and smiles at Ishy... Emma
  16. Phew! Wasn't that tricky - got the link to visit my store - yay! thank you Ishy! (Just why do I terrify myself so??) To get the clickable banner - just to clarify - I'd need to upload the banner as an image to Second Life or here to the forum somewhere? (I tried with copying the image address from the store banner but that didn't work.) The amazing (helped by Ishy) Emma Krokus
  17. Gonna take courage in both fists and try it.... (makes a terrified "Tarzan jumps through the trees" type noise ...) Thank you again Ishy! Emma "Watch my next post" Krokus
  18. Thank you Ishy!! The sign looks and works beautifully... Now I'd love to know how to get my shop logo onto the bottom of forum posts too - reading through Help hasn't revealed the answer to silly old me - anyone know? Thank you Emma
  19. I apologise if this is really obvious to more experienced merchants - I'm pretty new and on a steep learning curve... about no copy items- by no copy - do you mean items which are: no copy to the merchant OR set by the merchant for sale with no copy permissions? Thank you for clarifying. Emma
  20. Thank you Vania - that was comprehensive! Unfortunately I couldn't make it work - maybe there is a difference with me using Windows 7 that I'm just too non-techie to get. Nevertheless - I'm so impressed with the help it's possible to get from the forum - thank you guys )))).
  21. WOW!!!! (capitals are intentional) I love your badge - it moves... that's amazing - Id love to know how you did that... And as for avies... well, it took me 2 years to stop shape shifting on an hourly basis:smileyvery-happy: It's about once a day now... and why not? This is SL! (To those worried: I rarely use my man avies now)
  22. Hi Vania thanks for your advice! But how do I find the path to my viewer on my pc?...
