This is one thing that gets me. They have the slogan: upgrade your body, not your wardrobe." So I pay double the price and use the deformers to look like my old body? Why? Why not spend 5% of that cost to get a deformer that makes Maitreya look like Legacy? Too me it comes down to a major expense for what is at best a side-grade. I want the best and I will pay for the best but there are better choices out there. That's just my opinion tho. I do have Legacy for my male, tho. Love it. Too me, Legacy(m) is the best looking and easiest to use of the male bodies.

And you can bet that is a question in Linden business meetings every day. Where is the line with the best return for the least cost? If they lower costs, what happens in two months when they have to raise them again? Can you imagine the outcry? It's not an easy choice and I don't envy them for their position especially considering they have not yet recovered from the loss of Sansar and how that effected the company. Betty, I'm all for free tier or lowered prices but I think the long term life of SL is going to be chosen over the short term gain. Without hard financial data possessed by Linden Lab, we can only guess at what will happen. My guess is shutting down servers and thus reducing their costs as income drops in order to maintain operations at a lowered prescense.

Just letting you know, I was not laughing at you but rather sympathizing with the situation. Some times you gotta laugh or you'll go insane.

Oh hell no. Unless you are using an off brand body (which you are not) there is no need to go jumping into a new body. I have Maitreya Lara. I have alts with Belleza Venus and Freya, Tonic Fine Beauty and Slink Hourglass. I have demoed Legacy a few times but it is not for me even if it were free. Just not what I want. That said, I have a male alt with Slink, Jake and Gianni bodies that recently switched to Legacy(m) and I am happy with the results.
