Yes just log out of the dashboard then choose join free from the page that appears after log out. Then choose avi, name, details, agree to TOS and off you go, log that account in

It's been ages since I made my alt. She has a last name so it is that long. I decided to make a new one today because I was distracting myself from something. I found a name, eventually, that wasn't taken. I arrive at social island, new experience for me so I decided to follow the tutorials. Obviously easy for me but I thought they were well done for someone new. Right up until I find a row of portals to explore places in second life. I go through the first one, get spammed with group invites, landmarks and an IM greeting where I was invited to "Enjoy Your Stay,have fun and be naughty!" for an adult sex club and then instantly sent back to social island for being too young for this club! So now my question is how is the decision made on where these portals lead because surely it is not sensible to just go through the first one and get kicked back to social island. It confused me at first so I am sure a new person would be very confused and think they had done something wrong by entering an area they weren't allowed in. Now to see how cheaply I can dress her up.

It doesn't go back to your bank account unless you do a process credit.. it will sit in your US$ account.. go to your dashboard then account - account history/statements and you should have a balance there which you can either cash out or use to buy L$ with instant buy

It is for me kinda. Spent all morning TPing around looking for that perfect parcel ready to ditch my linden home which despite what people say, I have enjoyed that little escape away from our main business sim. Rarely anyone around, never laggy and we built an insert into our building so it was just like a skybox on the ground. Anyway back to looking for the right 1024 to make a new escape Also reading a lot of posts about the extra land keeps making me think "You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time”

I have never done it but from many posts on this forum I am sure you cancel cancel the order and the money will sit in your account to be used next time you buy L$. If I am wrong I am sure someone will correct me shortly

I remember something similar on a large scale a while ago but just now I got a message from my lag meter that "Prims are getting low...." so I looked in land and it said 109 left Well I knew last night when I logged off we had at least 700 left so it completely threw me where did 600 LI go overnight. I restarted the sim and it is back to what it should be. Any clues or anyone else had a problem?

Both of those take me back to when Ki and I met back in 2009. Along with the Matthew Street sim which was one of the first places we lived which was a build of the famous Matthew Street in Liverpool. I think the only place left that we used to regularly frequent back then is Inspire Space. We still go back there every year on our anniversary to jump off the moon

It sound's like you have a group tag activated and the role title shows above your name. You can change that by activating a different group . Scroll down to changing your active group

That could have been explained in the original post instead of just but it wasn't and when questioned subsequently went on to say that people who don't invest in mesh are somehow not showing a dedication to SL which is what some of us disagreed with

I went there last week and ended up finding the perfect backdrop for a project I was working on and so went to the MP and bought my own version. I will definitely go back to check out some more.

This! My other half isn't meshed, damn he barely changes clothes once every 6 months. He has been pretty dedicated to SL for 9 years, creating, paying for a sim and me. I couldn't give a flying fig if he is mesh, apart from his hands.. got to sort out those hands soon. His alt is meshed for vendor pictures but we don't let him out the box often

How to Change Group Title in Second Life? How to change your active group Select Edit > Groups from the menus at the top of the Second Life window. Click on the name of the group you wish to make active. You'll be using the title that group has given you. Click the Activate button. When the group name changes to bold, click Close.

You can go to your groups and change your active group and this will change the title to whatever the group has set. You can make your own group and make up different titles to suit.
