  1. @Persephone Emerald The whole point of the idea I briefly explained is to create a permanant road/tunnel connection between southern Sansara and Bellisseria, because there isn't one. I currently prefer the idea of a road tunnel more than a bridge, as bridge's in SL are often too low or too narrow for large tall-masted sailing ships (such as N+K's Midas and Falcon class ships) to pass beneath. A car ferry is an interesting, but problematic idea. A car ferry would require vehicle drivers to stay in their vehicles with their vehicle engines running so that "parked" vehicles stay physical and don't just "freeze" static in mid-air when the ferry starts moving. Also, the ferry would still require the four additional regions to sail in to bypass the private/rentable sims anyway. Driving the route directly via bridge/tunnel would be quicker and easier too.
  2. I went to southern Sansara continent today to see if there was a Linden Route road down there which might (theoretically) be extended south to Bellisseria to provide a road route between them. I found that there is a Linden Route in Sansara's Alcona region that would do the job perfectly and the land required to extend it further south to Sansara's southern coast has already been reserved by LL as Protected Land in the Schell sim region. Additional water regions south of Schell would need to be created to avoid the privately owned coastal parcels and also avoid the "Elements" sims of Ruthenium and Osmium, which are rentable sim regions. But, there isn't a place where a road from Sansara could easily join up with the nearest part of Bellisseria, as north-west Bellisseria's coast has Houseboats, but no roads. A bit to the east of the Houseboats is the Traditional theme, thankfully with roads. A bridge/tunnel from Sansara continent could use the five deep water sims that already exist between the two continents. The bridge/tunnel could link to the Traditional theme Jacinto region, which conveniently already has a road on Bellisseria's coast... currently ending at a roundabout and a boat rez zone.
  3. 19th May 2021: My Objective: Attempt a full crossing of all of SL's (then) connected continents within a single day, on the surface (land and water), without flying, no teleporting and using only one vehicle for the entire journey. Start: Giuseppe (Gaeta V's most north-east sim region) Half-way: Tully Low (Jeogeot's most southern sim region) Finish: Fillip (Heterocera Atoll's most northern sim region) ^ Map and route from 19th May 2021 Status/Time taken: Completed in approximately 9 hours Vehicle used: Hovercraft 😎
  4. The Moles have definitely been watching Jaws 3-D !
  5. ^ The underwater/seabed railway tunnel between Log and Ranch themes is no longer just a simple transparent tube. Today I noticed that it now has a sturdier looking framed structure with paned sections and ceiling lights. The tunnel is surprisingly wide too, which made me think of an idea suggestion; the tunnel's wide interior would make an excellent location for a double-tracked passing point so that trains travelling from opposite directions may pass each other without colliding.
  6. Caribou, one of the "empty" homestead sims in the Ranch theme, has been transformed into a community region! Caribou now contains a large circular fenced horse paddock containing a timed barrel-run game. There are also spaces to rez your horse (NOTE: Worn/Added ones will not work). The paddock is surrounded by lakes and trees too.
  7. Twenty-one new LH regions have appeared, as already described in other posts. There are nine in the Ranch theme and twelve in the Mediterranean theme. Names: Ranch (NW): Chestnut Grove, Wingit, Yellow Dog. Ranch (E): SSPLonghorn, Fishsticks, Nemo Bay, Cape Dory, SSPStone Cold Bluff, Lost Again. Mediterranean (NE): Cedar Park, Redfox Glen, Westwind Harbor, Stone Quarry Ridge, East Osprey Junction, Orchard Pond, Peddlers Hill, Raspberry Ridge, Brickyard Square, Lazy Brook, Dandelion Wine, Toujours Printemps.
  8. Could "Rosie" actually be the skin name? And is there more to the image than what is shown?
  9. @Dyna Mole It's now just past midnight (SL sun time), the moon was directly overhead the Eyrie castle dome. Absolutely nothing unusual has happened, except for the usual night time cipher characters glowing. No unusual sounds either. Going down the hole just flings you up into the air with screaming as you fall perpetually - which can be experienced at any other time of the day - which I've already done dozens of times since Eyrie opened back in November 2021. ?
  10. It's night, the 2 small Eyrie wishing wells are glowing and behaving exactly the same as the one in Pitapat. And the big hole is doing nothing unusual. I don't get it. I'll wait a bit longer..
  11. One thing I never quite understood about the cypher phrase, "Welcome weary travelLer, stay a while and listen". What exactly are we supposed to be listening to or for?
  12. This is the "main well"?! Or not?
  13. Well, well. Thanks Dyna. Found two wells in Eyrie, both outside of the castle close to the pathways. One is in the southeast corner and the other on the west side. Now to wait another four hours for night time again. Zzz... Found another Dyna Mole Card in the caves under the Eyrie castle too. I particularly like her quote: "The best time to plant a tree is 25 years ago." 😜
  14. I also waited in Fantasseria for night time to do something to the wishing well I found in Pitapat. Night make the symbols around the well's stonework glow and the water inside the well too. But clicking the well again had no effect.
  15. Just went to Picards Wharf, down into the underwater caves and didn't see or find any portals there, sadly. But did find a Dyna Mole info card in a wooden chest there though. I've also found a wishing well in Fantasseria today, something which I've not seen elsewhere before. It appears to be scripted object but does nothing when clicked or walked into. I will stay with it until sunset and hope that triggers something...
  16. Three alternative ways of entering the Fantasseria sim regions without obvious direct map teleporting, landmarks, flying or sailing there: 1. On the southern coast of the Chalet Homes is a sim called Parting Glass (formerly named SSPE2244), which has a lighthouse. Jump into the water and swim down to the cluster of crystals and rock formations on the bottom. You will find a glowing swirling portal amongst them. Enter the portal and you will be taken directly one way to Mirror Pond, a sim containing a large circular crater lake at the southern end of Fantasseria that is filled with crystals and rocks... 2. At the very north-east of the mainland Jeogeot continent is Hanshin sim, which has a tiny deserted island. Hanshin's island has a lighthouse and a Forgotton Garden. Forget the garden (!) and walk around to the shoreline near to the lighthouse. You will find an Eyrie Stone there. Use it and you'll arrive in south-east Fantasseria in the Cuppa sim. In Cuppa, you'll find another identical Eyrie Stone which will take you back to Hanshin. After using the Eyrie Stones, you can see both Hanshin and Cuppa sims together for a brief moment before one fades away... 3. At Gibbons (formerly named SSPE2233 on the east coast of Chalets) is some deep water in the south-east corner of the sim thats filled with sunken wreckage. Behind a sunken fishing boat is another portal that sends you one way to Jacksprite in the very centre of Fantasseria. (There's another Eyrie Stone at Toad Pool which takes you to the main Eyrie Community Centre on Fantasseria's northern coast. It's one-way and there's no obvious way of reversing travel back to Toad Pool.) Any others?
  17. @Blush Bravin Distances between mainland continents in SL are not as vast as they are with real world continents. The distance between the furthermost points of mainland is quite small, Gaeta V continent (in the northeast) and Jeogeot continent (in the southwest) is only 41 miles or 66 kilometres and can be fully travelled within one day, which I've actually done.
  18. I would suggest sending an IM to the Belle Epoque owner Janire Coba and asking which hair it is called and where it was bought from. I just visited Belle Epoque's inworld store (at Wild Willows), but did not see or find a "Paris" outfit vendor there to gain more clues from.
  19. ^ Both of the maps I posted earlier today have been replaced with updated ones because of @Eowyn Southmoor discovering another six regions which I had completely missed! 😜
  20. @Leora Greenwood Sakura is to the east of Mediterranean. There's a gap of only five regions at the narrowest point between them both now.
