  1. The cancellation process takes a bit of time. If you haven clicked the button, it really will happen. If you were a Premium member, then your account will actually stay active until you current Premium time period expires. Thus, since it says it is 'pending', it is in progress. Click the big X in the upper right corner and go on with your life.
  2. Drop the bed on the floor. Right click it and select Edit. The Edit window will default to moving objects -- i.e. you'll see arrows. However, near the upper left of the Edit box will be a radio button for Rotate. Click that button and the arrows on your object will change to circles that you can click and rotate with.
  3. The "My Maximum Proxy Bid" is not an actual link, but simply something you can hover your mouse over for further explanation. Enter the maximum that you want to bid and press "Place Your Bid". The system will only bid whatever is necessary, up to your max, to keep you in the lead.
  4. Grid status currently shows the normal support portal and live chat are both unavailable. The link you gave is the only thing that works right now. I'd say their "improvements" to the support portal are not going well.
  5. If you are Premium, you can even use Live Chat: Start Live Chat: https://support.secondlife.com/start-chat/ Live Chat is available 5am to 3pm PST every day. Well.......... if the system was online, you might be able to do that.
  6. It is not quite the same as the last few pics in this thread: But those styles are sort of close, so maybe try the same place - no.match
  7. True for a RL nudist area, but in SL those genitalia are very likely not even semi-erect. Given how the male pen!s is made in SL, that is probably simply its so-called limp/flacid state.
  8. To get it out of the water, try to cam under the water and then select it, either taking it back into inventory or editing it and moving it. As to the 'floating on water', I'm not a creator and thus clueless.
  9. IF that is the OP and her SL daughter in the second picture (the girl with the little bear strapped to her leg), then I'm a bit amused at the OP's stance on all of this, since that young girl barely has any clothing at all on. That swimsuit bottom is most definitely a g-string and that top is covering nothing more than the nipples themselves. The girl looks to be in her mid-teens and that type of swimsuit is definitely not something my daughter would have been allowed to wear before she turned 18.
  10. In the US and many other coutries, anyone under the age of 18 is considered a child, yet most 16-18 yrs olds (and sometimes younger) are allowed to be exposed to nudity in films. In a variety of places around the world, nude sunbathing (or at least topless) is considered normal and children see it at a young age.
  11. Per the Adult Content FAQ in the Wiki (http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_Lab_Official:Adult_Content_FAQ) , referenced in the Maturity Ratings Wiki (https://community.secondlife.com/knowledgebase/english/maturity-ratings-r52/), referenced from the Second Life Terms and Conditions (https://www.lindenlab.com/legal/second-life-terms-and-conditions): Depending on context, nudity may not require an Adult rating. For example all of the following could be rated Moderate: A nude beach without sexual activity. Skin vendors showing a nude skin to display the product. Nude art that is not sexual. Strip clubs that do not use adult words in search or host sex furniture. Depending on the context, exposed genitalia may not be considered Adult. For example: Hanging out at a nude beach would be fine. Walking around pants-less on the mainland could be inappropriate. Non-sexualized depictions of nudity are Moderate NOT Adult.
  12. You are assuming that the girl with the dildo attached to her leg is a child avatar, whereas I'm not so sure about that. The OP has a problem with the above at that location because it apparently claims to be family friendly and child avatars are allowed there. She took her own SL children there and was appalled at what her children were allowed to see. OP fails to realize that you can never ASSUME that a Moderate sim will in fact be 100% G rated. That is why it is designated as Moderate instead of General.
  13. Side note - the picture contents (other than being obviously a cartoon pixel image) don't look much different that what I have seen at nudist beaches in the US and abroad (with children there also). BTW - A male might even have a semi-erection that is totally not sexual -- no different than when a woman's nipples stiffen due to cool air.
  14. While all of that is allowed in a Moderate sim, it is NOT ALLOWED to post pictures in the forum showing male genitalia, so you either need to remove the picture or black out the male parts.
  15. My guess is that the moderators may be moving some of your posts to what they consider to be the correct forum. Review the titles and descriptions of the sub-forums for help in determining where each post goes. Here are the descriptions of the sub-forums in the People forum - all of the sub-forums have such descriptions.
  16. You can open a support ticket with LL or use Live Chat if you are Premium. Tell them that you think you have a flat inventory problem -- they have tools they can use to fix your inventory if that is the problem. In the future, as Rolig says, be sure to have many levels in your inventory with no single folder having many hundreds of items in it. Create a Support Ticket: https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/ Start Live Chat: https://support.secondlife.com/start-chat/ Live Chat is available 5am to 3pm PST every day.
  17. A promise to cuddle when you get home from work (if that's a possibility), combined with lots of cute kitty smiles - sure to be irresistible.
  18. Eeek, how could I forgot. I blame it on the early morning fogginess of the brain. Here, I brought you a choice
