  1. If it is mesh clothing, then it is attached pieces and you simply can right click them and select 'detach'. However, it is possibly 'Applier' lingerie. Applier clothing puts a texture on the mesh body rather than attaching an object to the body. Attach your Maitreya HUD and click the Layers tab on it. On that panel, click 'Clear all layers' and the lingerie goes away. To re-wear it, you will need to click the Applier again.. Or you can click the top & pants symbols and that will simply turn the layer off. You can then click the top & pants again to turn the layer back on later when you want the lingerie to show.
  2. Except for those of us that also get notifications for posts made by those we follow - thus I got a notification on it as soon as Cindy responded to the necroposter. In the US, in all but 2-3 states, incest between consenting adults is criminalized. Almost all of those states include much more than blood siblings and parent/child relations, many even include 'by marriage and/or adoption' in the classifications. Ref: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laws_regarding_incest_in_the_United_States
  3. Today's pet peeve / irritation (since it has now happened multiple times): Creators that send out notecards containing pictures & information about items at an event that ended days ago or an inworld sale that has already ended -- i.e. sending out the same notecard over and over w/out bothering to update it to remove stuff that is no longer valid. I now remember why I left this store group last year.
  4. It is done via the PayPal website, when you add the bank account to your PayPal account.
  5. You are either going to have to work it out with you internet provider (provide them with those ping times) or you can try to force another route. Sometimes using something like Google DNS will force a different route. Using VPN will force a different route, but that will add other issues.
  6. I'm not sure if Cindy's post was considered an official request.... so: Can I have your stuff?
  7. Definitely. LL encourages folks to add feature requests to the JIRA. Just know that the JIRA has tons of them, and many never get implemented, even if the JIRA is "accepted".
  8. Well, the JIRA is not a forum in any way - i.e. like these forums where we discuss things. It is a ticketing system for reporting bugs and feature requests. JIRA is discussed enough around here that I figured all the older folks knew about it.
  9. I had that issue also, but I found it via the Destinations pages
  10. There is already a JIRA for that - https://jira.secondlife.com. Why would LL want to manage another area for requests? As to the 'non-members' part (which I think is what you meant), non-members wouldn't know what is or isn't available in SL, so them asking for features seems a bit absurd.
  11. I sure as heck wasn't the least bit worried about anything. I already know that online status cannot be truly hidden. I just wanted to make sure my notes for answering questions here in the forums were accurate.
  12. I might have to give it a whirl. Wonder how many Firestorm only features I use regularly that will drive me nuts not to have.
  13. If they weren't going to implement an MP specific block list, they probably should have given each Merchant a tick box for whether or not they wanted their inworld block list to apply to the MP. At least then, the Merchant can decide what works best for them. I love the consumer related changes they've made to the MP.
  14. Definitely not - at least not anymore. Way back in the day, I got way too many odd looks from people when I mentioned SL - that was back when SL was, I think, more well known, but not necessarily for good things. My kids do know that I have an account here, though I have no clue on whether they know that I'm still fairly active on SL - none of the kids live at home anymore. My husband absolutely hates SL and pretty much just tolerates it. I talk about forum stuff with him, but seldom ever talk about inworld stuff to him. My mom is the exception. Back in my early days here, I introduced her to SL - she needed something to occupy some of her time when she was laid up at home for a while. She used SL actively, via 3 or 4 accounts, for many years. However, she hasn't logged on in a couple of years now. I can still talk to her about SL though.
