If you are talking about the cabin, then the answers are in the "Winter Cabin Help" notecard. Use the Security option of the Home Control System. If you are talking about a different home, are you using a Linden Home, or a place on the mainland that you "own" or a place anywhere that you "rent"?

The initial cabin box titled 'Winter Cabin (Add to Unpack)" should attach when you 'add' it and put your avatar into a position of holding the box in front of you - and then it will auto-unpack itself to a folder in your inventory (folder name 'Winter Cabin'). Inside that folder are 2 objects and a notecard. The item called 'Winter Cabin' inside that folder is the cabin itself -- drag it to the ground and use it as you wish. The item called 'Winter Wonderland - Premium Members Token 2018' inside that folder is not needed for you cabin. It was needed for some things at the Winter Wonderland area, but now is nothing but a souvenir. If you want you can still unpacked it. You will need to again 'add' it and it will use an animation to have you holding a box over your head, and it will then auto-unpack itself into a folder. The two items inside the folder are simply 2 versions of the same thing. One is a HUD version and one attaches an object to you. However, like I said, they are not longer useful - they allowed you to get some special items at the Winter Wonderland.

I had one that I created in 2008, but only logged her in a few times. I then lost the password and never got around to doing anything with the account. I resurrected it early last year and though I had to give LL some details about the account in order to get a password reset, she was still there with intact inventory -- roughly 10 years inactive.

I started the thread. While I was a tad curious about the religious stuff behind it, it wasn't really a big deal to me, hence why I didn't question you about it. I even stated a few times in the thread that I figured people could do as they wish in regards to their religion and I sure wasn't going to get upset by it. I was more curious about whether anyone else had encountered it in SL before. I use Firestorm - never knew I could just paste it in the address bar, but that totally makes sense. Maybe so, but people will still tell me that I'm spamming or advertising by doing that.

Store owners that simply paste the store SLURL into a notecard rather than dragging an LM into the notecard. With just a slurl, I have to copy it out and paste it into local chat in order to then click it so I can teleport - and pasting SLURLs into chat is considered spamming by anyone around you. Are notecards limited by how many textures and LMs you can drag into them? If not, then I see no reason whatsoever, for it to not be an actual LM.

The rash of "everyone else does it" excuses that we seem to be seeing quite a bit of lately.

I poked around a bit but couldn't find anything to help you in the Firestorm viewer (which I think you meant, rather than Firefox, which is a web browser). However, I would highly suggest that you join the inworld Firestorm support group and ask them as they will know for sure. Go to you Linden Home and either right click on the land itself or click World / About Land from the menu. Then click Abandon Land

I liked's Drax's film a lot. It gave a view of SL from some people with different disabilities in RL - actually showed most of the people in both SL and RL. It was one of the few longer-than-5-minute videos about SL that I watched from beginning to end. IMO Drax is usually pretty good at putting together decent videos and this one does a good job of using both SL and RL stuff. I will say that while I've read a bit of Boellstorff's stuff from different locations on the web, I've never actually read his book.

Based on what you have come away with as being "true", I would highly suggest that you avoid trying to help any new users for quite some time.

So your opening post was not fully honest in what was prompting the questions. We were simply being interviewed for your research project.

It does that for you? To me it does not work as intended. Instead it reveals my previously hidden body sections ... On the surface, I don't have a problem with auto-hiding. However, if I wish to hide anything else in addition to the auto-hide pieces, then the auto-hide scripts screw things up.

You should be able to figure out which items have already been delisted and thus should be able to make some logical guesses as the reasons. If it has anything to do with you using Disney stuff, then you can expect to see the rest of such items using such disappear from your MP soon. Word of advice - even if it wasn't the Disney items causing this battle, if you keep you MP store after this, definitely get rid of all the Disney image stuff.
