They updated the controllers, so the new models of houseboats are available in the "old" neighborhoods as well as the new releases of regions. In the new regions the new models are all rezzed out. It made me want to swap out some of the houseboats for the original styles. The Evening Star is still one of my faves. I was hoping for the houseboat upgrade or a new theme around the holidays. I'm answering late, so you probably already know all this now.

Someone's going to get a great location. I've been tempting fate a little bit too much lately, and then regretting it. I accidentally clicked on a camper twice today. The second time I thought I'd gotten the same one back, but it turned out to be in another spot in the same region. It turned out to be a keeper!

Looking forward to 2048 Linden Homes...

I grew up in Michigan, lived in San Francisco for many years, and then returned to Michigan. Somehow never made it to Disneyland when I was out there. My great niece was having a celebration at Disney World after she kicked acute lymphocytic leukemia's ass when she was 4 years old. The extended family was going to meet in Orlando for the event, and she ended up in the hospital. The trip was postponed and only involved her immediate family. The best gift is that she is now a thriving teenager! -
I am a boat gal, and especially love lighthouse views!

I just reported what I read. I have never been to Disneyland or Disney World. I've always yearned to ride in one of the teacups, though. It is really costly, and I was surprised that my friend and her family went to Disney World right after the major hurricane hit this fall. They had planned and saved for years for the trip. They managed to go and have a great time. I just reread your post, and I think it would be hard to really get into the SL experience without spending some money. I went for a long time without having a premium account. I could never get into owning Mainland, so I've rented over the years from private estates. Until Bellisseria came along and made me a happy hopper, I had been quite content to be a renter with 1200 prim allowances. -

That's interesting, LittleMe, because I just read an article about Disney's CEO making a point of basing decisions on the Consumer POV. They keep raising their prices, and people keep paying. -

In RL, I live in a ranch style condo to differentiate from a multi-story condo. There are 3 other attached units. I'm a fan of ranches, especially after I paid a visit to my niece's family in Colorado. It seemed like a long trek every night to get to the guest bedroom. ๐ -
How many Linden Homes do you have today?

I've seen homes on beautiful waterways that are from the original rollout of Bellisseria. They stand empty. They are gorgeous locations, but nobody knows the reasons that people hang onto locations. Maybe if they decorated, they wouldn't want to stay. That happens to me all the time. ๐ -

I have two Linden homes. I like having one place and one hopper. Just recently gave up a nice houseboat and stilt. Now I've got a camper and Trad. Both lovely water locations. I tend to keep my houseboats longer than any other theme. -

I'm sure your dream house will eventually come available. I've stalked a few homes and managed to get a Trad back that I regretted giving up. Now that availability is up, I'm more relaxed about staying or hopping. -
Thanks, because I'm a tumbleweed and never stay put for long. I don't want some other long-suffering resident to get unwanted visitors. I guess I added my slurls after @diamond Marchantdownloaded the slurls. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Ketran/137/190/38 (walk through the pumpkin arch) The bucket is on the porch. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Pinot Point/214/209/22 (feel free to use the bumper boats to tour the neighborhood)

Hunts (especially shopping events) tax my nerves. They're not fun, so I appreciate that there is a spreadsheet of URLs. I posted my two homes there-- one in Ketran and the other in Pinot Point. Feel free to hang out and use the bumper boat rezzer in Pinot Point. I wouldn't post someone else's home. I respect people's choices and privacy.

Most Popular Linden Home Theme?

I really thought you'd put Vics, as your number one! Houseboats have been mine, with Trads a close second. -
Thank you and big hugggss ๐๐ป๐

Amaretto has breedable dogs, as well as horses, birds, ponies, and most recently dragons (under another company name).

I'm sure a Linden or Mole will give you a definitive answer, however, it's my understanding that it's the center of the house that determines if it's classified as On Land or On Water. That's why I always check out Stilts on Land, in case they actually border water.

Nika, I guess I benefited by somebody giving up a coastal stilt on land in Lobster Roll. I and my alt are not premium plus, and she landed Lobster Roll a few days ago.
