  1. Your problem is solidify,inner and outer part of your model colide when you rigged them and poke thru eacother.remove inner side and leave just edges to mimic thickness of material.Also when you bake shaddowmap on your model inner and outer part share space on UV,you get double bake wich equals bad AO!One more reason to remove inner part Only when you need inner part is on open type jackets and short skirts that you can see inside of it and ewen than only on part you can see.
  2. SL prim/sculpt/mesh object size limit is 64x64x64 meters! NOT 10x10x10 as you say! Annything larger than that you have to use megaprims (wich i DO NOT recomend due to lag they create if used as colision objects (floors ect)) Megaprims you can find in Builders brewary!They are free but are limited in size .Size they come in is size they have to be ,you must not resize them or they shrink to sl max size!
  3. Try uploading with LL viewer,that in most cases fixes physics issues

You dont need anny special script for that,normal old school 32 prim boat script (or anny other vehicle type) will work perfect (if you have it ) What you need to do is to set non colision parts (extra prims ower 32) to prim physics none (you can find that setting in features tab in edit) You do it like this: Edit your vehicle,activate edit linked,deselect root prim and all prims you want to be solid/phisical up to 32 prims total deselected (to stay in physics limit),on remaining selected prims on features tab change prim physics type from "convex hull" (thats default) to "none" ,script is as you would usualy do,aaaaand done! (note,for this you need mesh enabled viewer becouse its only ones that have this option) This will basicly cheat scripts not to see extra prims that are set to prim physics type none,they have no waight and they are phantom,vehicle scripts dont see them and this way you can make physical vehicle with total sum of linked parts 256 prims. No script change needed. PS: To correct Zagnut ,physical vehicle prim limit still is 32 prims but avatars DONT count as prims!
  5. To add bones to existing SL avatar rig is not possible (yet) tho you can offset them but easer would be to rig and make acording AO for animal like movement (quadruped walking ect).. My first answer to OP Q still stands,adding bones is not possible!!!!

  7. When i need mirrored object i usualy do this...normaly on original object i apply location,rotation and scale,than use mirror modifier,apply it,select mirrored part in edit and separate vertecies so i get 2 objects,newer needed to flip normals or annything when i did that...
  8. You can make mesh inworld if you use Mesh studio,search marketplace for it Its a tool that converts prim build (also sculpts can be used in that build but only ones that are made with Sculpt Studio) into a mesh

Its SL,annything is possible,i had same thing happening to fiew of my items before.Item not delivered or payed for but review was there from buyer whos purchase failed...i sent IM to buyer explaning that i cant redeliver item that wasnt payed for (acording to marketplace transaction log and me newer getting anny L$ for items in question),buyer didnt want to listen at all btw,sweared and demanded L$ or item or he will tell all his friends not to buy from me so i filed AR for extorsion and threats and muted persone,LL removed review after i filed ticket to! Some buyers go thru process of buying than cancel it in middle,so they get review ability but dont spend 1L$,they want item for free or they threat to tell eweryone about merchant being a fraud ect. Mute and AR such conn artists!

  11. dont duplicate than mirror Use mirror modifier,apply it in object mode than separate 2 shoes in edit if you wont rigg them Also if you want to have insides to use solidify modifier..
  12. You can sell mesh items on marketplace but you cant list them as mesh (that checkbox saying 100% mesh or partial mesh thing) .You can say in item decription its mesh tho... And you dont need payment info to get money out of SL, you can easy use one of ATM systems in SL like Virvox!

Rigged mesh will always show where its rigged no matter where you attach it, you can atach rigged shoe to your hand and it will still be on your foot,or rigged hair to your hand and it wil still end up on your head. Only possible solution is to (i might be wrong tho) link rigged mesh to cube (cube to be root prim),atach it to spine,edit linked (cube) and move it to center point,detach and rezz on ground than set rest of parts (flexy ribbons to cube as reference point),when you wear it all linked and set where you want it to be all should be alingned ok. As i sayed i might be wrong but that should work in theory.Rigged mesh will adjust itself to rigged position no matter where it is attached or its position in linkset.Also keep in mind rigged mesh CANT be resized.It is always on its rigged size!
  16. Multiple listing of same item by 1 merchants are not allowed and that you CAN flag and it WILL be removed by LL! Multiple listing of same item by 1 merchant but with different permissions ( 1.st listing full perm for buliders and 2.nd no transfer for personal use only) is allowed becouse it is basicly not same item (permissions vise) is allowed! Listings of same item by 2 or more merchants isnt item spam becouse more ppl can use exactly same builders kit (sculpts/mesh ect) and have exactly same end product,that is not item spam,that is just paralel development/creation and it is allowed to do! Cant controll what ppl do with same building parts... Listing same item under 2 (or more ) alts is possible ,ppl do it ,noone can say "thats this guys alt and he is selling same stuff on both accounts" becouse you cant be 100% sure is it true or not,ewen if you aresure(and have proof) you cant name alts becouse that is against SL TOS... Using brand names is not allowed becouse brand names are copyrighted...tho LL will not remove it if some Sl resident flags/reports it,they will only remove it if brand name copyright holder files DMCA against item using brand name! Selling ilegal/stolen/copyboted products is NOT allowed but still only original creator can get it removed by filing DMCA against merchant who is selling it ilegaly!
  17. More information needed... What kind of model is in question? What program did you make it in? Is it Uv unwrapped? Avatar file import you mention importing is your AVi shape?

  20. If your mesh is all quad faces in Maya normaly it will have double ammount of faces as SL mesh becouse SL dae is triangulated,each quad face becomes 2 triangles.Nothing you can do about it!

    along with having more than 8 materials flipped faces can also do what you describe If you are using blender switch to texture view mode to see if annything is transparent,if it is go to edit mode,select ewerything and recalculate normals,in most cases that corrects all messed up faces all to same side,if they are wrong way just use flip normals to get them outside

  23. That ammount of scripting and animation i seriously doubt annyone will do it for 500L$,try 50k and you might find scripter willing to do it...quality anims,most likly 2k L$+ per custom animation... all in all GL
  24. Try taking snapshot 10 minutes after logging in,cant,crashes viewer.. Try uploading anything after some time loggied in,cant open upload window or crashes viewer.. Textures going black for no apearent reason,relog n they back to normal... Happens on LL viewer...only one that crashes me for some reason,all TPVs crash for NO reason! LL.... FIX IT!!!!!!!!!!!! Stop adding new features before you fix old stuff that aint working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
