  4. To manny faces per material,SL added more materials to compensate and that coused materials mixup! Soon as you sayed Zbrush i got a headache...your model must be high poly to nuts levels! it in blender and remesh it to drop your polycount!

Manny things affect land impact of mesh,from its polycount,physics shape to its size inworld so counting only on polycount to see land impact you wont get any distinctive formula to know how will it end up!you can have simple 200 poly shape for ground with skin tight pysics to walk on on 64 meters size and have it 30 LI or you can have 10000 poly model with only 1 tris as physics on 2 meters size to be 1 LI,its not exact science,all depens on how you make it! I can tell you this way and nother mesher will say something different,in end you have to see what works best for your designs...experiment!
  7. SL is not a game! Games have characters...SL has residents! Games have goal...SL doesnt...SL is what you make of it! Will anyone hire unskilled noob...umm no! First you have to aquire some skills... Learn how to build inworld with prims ( go to Builders Brewary,they have tons of classes) costs you apsolutly nothing but time invested and also you can meet new ppl there and make some friends who might share your interests Learn how to make textures (for clothes,buildings,materials ect,you can use Gimp for that, its free program)each texture upload costs 10L$ Learn how to make mesh ( 3d models you can make in blender,free program,tho loading mesh in to SL is not free,fees vary on mesh,you will need some L$ to do it and also pass Linden Labs mesh quiz and have payment info on file)

  9. I doubt your friends on FS crashing has anything to do with you wearing fitted mesh! I am on FS,I wear fitted mesh and i dont crash or anyone around me eather! Tho it is a weird conicidance...

Keep in mind Second Life is Second Life....it has nothing to do with IW,AVN or any other grid except shared platform...different grids,different ppl run them,prices different,creators...its like different countries,diferent laws so you cant excpect "One ring to roule them all "(mordor talk) also different creators have different end user licence and agreements,some allow their creations to be used on other grids (with price attached for that privilege) and some dont ewen want to hear about it! That is up to the creator to decide! Current SL TOS forbids any creations to be exported to any other grid and also all legal viewers you can use in SL dont have export /backup option for anything that you didnt create with 100% your resources (being a soul creator) It is to prevent theft and misuse! Ther will alwas be dishonest ppl who will misuse anything they can and make easy money on stolen property! In SL and on any other grid! Only persone who legaly can transfer creation from one grid to a nother is creator himself!

I have allmost exactly same issue ,cashout blocked...allmost 2 weeks ago (monday 20th) i requested cashout (300$US) to paypall...all good till friday 24th ,LL support sends me mail asking for aditional info (state issued ID,online form bla bla,tax stuff),i sent ewerything requested inside 1 hr after i got mail...now its 31st...numerous live chat sessions with LL support....pissed out of my mind cos they hold my money...already got notes from bank that il have penalty to pay for unpayed loan an bills...LL sits on their asses and says "all you can do is wait" or "I am not at liberty to discuss financial team cases with you" ! Flipping waiting in dark! Wait for what??? Wraith of god??? Do i realy need to sue them to get my money? I cashout on regular basis for ower 3 yrs now! And NOW they ask for aditional info???After 3+ yrs??? Did i mention i am not USA resident?

From what i can see it might be flipped normals (SL renders all mesh 1 sided,blender by default renders solid (as shown on blender snap you provided),you dont have backface cooling enabled so ewerything renders solid so you cant see flipped normals) here is how to activate backface cooling -go to view menu,activate properties,scroll down to display options,tic backface coling active Now you can see fliped nomals,go to edit mode,select faces that are flipped and flip direction (this wont screw up rigging),that should fix mising (jagged) parts

If its rezzed it can be boted,doesnt matter if linkset is made out of mix of prims,sculpts and mesh,attached/worn or rezzed on land,copybot viewer will rip it clean out in one obj file... tho its not all smooth sail to boter becouse its ripped apart in to materials and separated (as example one prim box will be separated in to 6 planes) so any copyboted object needs work from copyboter to make it back in to object it was in SL an upload it back! In one word getting it out is easy,getting it back in SL not so easy! Speaking of protection against such things.... there is none except keep an eye out and DMCA any copyboter you catch!
  18. Use one material on your object and nother on your triangle,tha way you can make triangle 100% transparent without messing up object texture (remember you can use up to 8 materials in 1 joined mesh object)
  19. Make owersized cube around your mesh (not to big,about 2 or 3 times bigger than your model),set it to new material and than delete all but 2 faces (sparing poligons) to get virtual bounding box,when imported in SL make that faces 100% transparent and you have nano mesh...
  20. Classic alpha sorting glich,well known and documented not only in SL. Save texture for hair not as png but as tga with alpha chanel and problem should be fixed.
  21. Lets say you have unrigged mesh pants or shirt...what wil you do with it (except use it as display model), if you wear it looks like you wearng a brick,its not moving with your avi,its stiff! So no matter how you resize it wont work.
  22. explanation for "dummies" would be : Rigged mesh is "glued" to your avi skin/skeleton ,in some proportions you can resize it with shape sliders in edit shape but nothing more than that!
