Cinn, the next time you go threatening Maddy, please think of me. She's storming around the house now, screaming obscenities at the top of her lungs. I was hoping to have a quiet evening up here in the attic, but now I've got to stuff insulation in my ears. Do you know how scratchy that stuff is?

Whether to take Maddy seriously or not is a simple choice. Either way you're wrong. Your best bet is not to take her at all. Give her back, as her ex-husband did.
