  1. Sylvia! Isn't it THIS version of Rolling In the Deep that's supposed to be your favorite?
  2. Chris Norse wrote: I grabbed the resident name for Chris. He has been logged in once since the names came out. In these past 9 months or so, he has gotten 3 partnering requests. Really? My single name Quinn alt, who has only ever logged in twice, has never received a partner request. Now she's going to feel all unloved. :matte-motes-crying:
  3. Um, never mind. I found it. Um, thanks? :matte-motes-bashful-cute::matte-motes-tongue::matte-motes-kiss::matte-motes-big-grin:
  4. It's been revised? Am I allowed to know what this revision is? I'm almost afraid to ask.
  5. @Keli, Soccer Mom reporting for duty! What time does practice end? I need to know if I have time to run errands before I pick you up, or if I have to stay and make boring small talk with the other moms. @Venus, I'm always happy to spend my vacation money in NC. We love it there. If I could buy a second home there in the mountains, I would in a heartbeat. @Storm, I only singled out Dillon because she's the one who usually calls me Soccer Mom. Regarding the splendor of the mountains, I agree with you that this part of the country is simply breathtaking. As for golf, you'd get along with Zeke. He loves to play, but rarely has the time. In any case it sounds there could be a good investment opportunity for someone to design a course in the Blue Ridge mountains! @Dillon, *waves back*

But then I had a nice conversation with Rudolph... ...who gave me directions to the elf dormitory and promised to make sure Santa left me extra goodies if I could manage to get even by putting frogs in their beds. Apparently the elves aren't so nice to the reindeer, either. And, I always liked Ishtara. :matte-motes-bored: Maybe there is a difference in attitude between the 'pink' and the 'green' elves. Storm, you must be right about that. I would NEVER put frogs in Ishtara's bed, honest! :matte-motes-agape:
  7. Yes, that is my van! You have excellent taste in minivans, Keli. /me waits for Dillon to come along and call me "soccer mom."
  8. In June I spent a week with my family in a cabin in the mountains of North Carolina high country. Here's the cabin. And here is a view from a scenic overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway. This is the third time we've been to that area, and they've all been the most relaxing vacations I've ever had!

  10. I love the sobbing zombie! And like Lillie, I kind of want to friend him too. :matte-motes-inlove:
  11. Suella Ember wrote: You'll be telling me "you could care less" next! :smileytongue: /me swoons ♥♥♥ Suella, you are my new forum hero! This business about "I could care less" has long been one of my pet peeves. Thank you for sharing this very crucial information!
  12. It's exactly the sort of unexpected silliness one would find in SL. I love it and totally wish I could have been there to see it take place in person.
  13. DQ Darwin wrote: Dear Quinn: Not wanting to steal Katt's role here, in her absences may I suggest you seek some help from the person who opened office in the post just ahead of yours. According to her sign she is open and rather shall we say inexpensive. I believe that is what is known as a conflict of interest, given that said poster is also the guilty party against whom my complaint is directed. Maybe I should sue her for intestinal distress.
  14. Thanks Canoro. It's good to be back!
  15. Keli Kyrie wrote: Quinn I noticed you did not like one of my threads. My I suggest you file a complaint at the Complaint Department Done!
  16. Dear Ms. Wickentower, I would like to file a formal complaint against a fellow forum poster, and I've been advised that this is correct department for such grievances. First, a little history. I do not like eggs. In fact, I despise them—a fact which has previously been well documented in the forum on a previous occasion. Which leads us to today's events. I have been absent from the forum for some time due to RL priorities. Upon announcing my return less than two hours ago and requesting that my forum friends point me toward "can't miss" threads that I may have missed during my sabbatical, a certain forum poster (we'll call her KK) had the nerve—The Nerve!!!—to send me to this thread. It was all I could do to keep down my lunch. I thought I had the stomach for anything that takes place in these forums, but this thread has caused me to reconsider. Have I any recourse against such nauseous content? Sincerely, An Adamant Egg Hater
  17. Dillon Levenque wrote: I was afraid of that. Hopefully she didn't spend enough time to read anyone's posts but your OP so the only person she'll avoid is you. I can live with that. And she'll eventually get over it. ETA That Complaint Department thread is really good. I somehow missed it and saw it for the first time yesterday. Very clever stuff. In fact that was exactly my strategy. I made a reply to the OP explaining why I could not read the rest of the thread. But I will, of course, file a formal complaint with the Complaint Department.
  18. Keli Kyrie wrote: Welcome back Quinn we missed you. Hugs Now I don't want to judge one thread from the others, because they are all great imho so I will just give you mine, How do you like your eggs? How much time do you spend in SL? What are we going to call it? Chatbook, SLitter? I've already been to the first two of those threads and will make a point to get to the third one later in optimistic hope that I can decipher this new social thingy in our profiles. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
  19. Thanks to everyone for the welcome back and thanks especially to Ceka for the song. I love it!
  20. Dillon Levenque wrote: NO NO Quinn! Do NOT read the Egg thread; you'll get queasy about all of us! TOO LATE!!! YOU SHOULD HAVE WARNED ME SOONER!!!!! :matte-motes-sick:
  21. Janelle, I was advised to make this thread one of my first stops upon my return to the forum because of your legendary brilliance here. I was not disappointed! You are a master comic strip storyteller! To everyone else, beware of those movie star bots. I think they might all be false prophets trying to lure your allegiance away from Our Lady of Perpetual Silence. Stay vigilant and don't be fooled by their persuasive but deceptive rhetoric!
  22. Keli Kyrie wrote: Are you counting all those hours and hours you are online making your friends wait for you to get dressed? Bwhahahaha! Normally I would say in the neighborhood of 15-ish hours per week. But the past month and especially the past couple of weeks have been virtually 0.
  23. I am so very sorry, Keli, I can't read this thread. I do not like eggs. If I must be in the presence of cooked eggs, they must be far enough away that I cannot smell them. :matte-motes-sick:
  24. Aw, I was away and I missed it. Happy belated birthday, Chris!
