Here's my question, I have submited most of my oiginal mesh creations to the United States Library of Congess. I have done this every month for the past 2 years. It's NOT CHEAP. But, I feel it is worth it. Now, when you do this it's like a second level of protection for your creation. So, how on EARTH Linden Lab can think that they OWN rights to MY art is beyond me. Would they be prepared to go to court againt me and the USLOC? Who would win? Also, another question is, if LL thinks they own our shi* then how are "we" able to file a DMCA against people misusing our stuff if our stuff is "owned by LL"? None of this shi* makes any sense to me, personally I feel like Linden Lab has done everything they possibly can to fu*k over creators and make more profits for themselves. As for this Peter Gray letter..... WHAT?! .... If I wanted to sell my shi* on another plateform "I" would, why does that call for this tos change? That has nothing to do with it... I sell alot of my sl items on Turbosquid and plan on selling items on renderosity soon aswell not to mention some of my SL creations may be used by Gamersfirst soon aswell. But, since LL owns my shi* would that then give them the right to file against me? .... Im usually one of the creators with the biggest mouth and I havent chimed in on this issue just because SL is my rl job and there's not a damn thing I can do to change that right now. So, I've kept my head in the sand about most of this but now sitting here really reading this tos.... I'm like WOW... My husband is a business major and he read it with me and is basically saying that I need to leave sl and do something else if I care anything about my creations... He also says it sounds like LL is preparing for a big hell storm but LL wouldnt close SL it makes too much money right? PHILIP ROSEDALE WHY DID U LEAVE ME!!!! :< We need Phil back, he was a coniving little **bleep** at times but I just don't see him doing this to the creators of SL..... Sorry if any of this sounds stupid or whatever cause I REALLY am confused here Also, now, if you transfer out your lindens up to $20,000 LL will send you a W9? ummm when did they tell us about this!? THEY DIDNT. A big name mesh creator brought this to our attention yesterday and im just so confused... LL what are you doing!? Cause I really feel you are planning for a bigggggggg fu*k us over fest....

I've basically spent the last 3 years really paying attention to what sells and what doesnt sell. Goth SELLS, Sex SELLS, Hair SELLS, Full Perm SELLS, Dark/Goth Fantasy Stuff SELLS, Emo Stuff SELLS, etc etc.. Idk who we'd contact to see actual stats but just take a look around SL, you'll soon realize what categories get the most views <3

Mine have taken anywhere from 7-11 days and that's not counting weekends, usually it's about 5-6 days but I just cash out every single day now so it pisses me off less now lol

It's by CasperVend why not just say that? And personally I was pretty annoied to find that ALL my items were up on this new maketplace. Even old shi* that I have in my dropbox but don't have up in my store anymore... Yes, there is a way to remove everything off there and I did that but had I had a choice I would have never had them up there. Plus, he's saying after however long he is going to take a small percentage of every sale from that marketplace, like LL does on the main marketplace. Um, no Casper not happening hahahahaha Why on gods green earth would I give a percentage to someone who had nothing to do with the item in the first place. I wish him well and I still use his vendor system but I won't have anything to do with the new marketpace or anymore grand ideas he has I just want the single simple as fu*k vendors kthnxbai lol

Also, let me add that I pay about $75 real dollars a week for my sim/in world store. If I didnt love my inworld store so much and if anything happened in my RL where I could really use that extra $300 a month I would drop my in world store in a heart beat. Most people shop on the marketplace as it is. There is nothing wrong with just having a MP store. If you can still make your income from it, it can actually be a very smart move for some.

Lol I don't agree with this at all. When you are legit designer just starting out you may not be able to afford to have an in world store. I had AngelRED Couture only on the marketplace for the first few months until I could afford land. I don't see what having an in world store has to do with anything really but yes, everyone should have to either be premium, pay some sort of merchant fee, or have payment info up.

Over the last 3 years I've noticed that these stores on marketplace trying to sell full permission creators stuff as full perm, or full perm items that are really just an empty box raise in the winter time. I've written so many DMCA's over the past week it'd ridiculous. They saving up stolen lindens for Christmas? What does LL do with those lindens? Do they let the theif transfer them out to paypal? And why LL WHYYY only make "new" merchants add payment info? Why not make ALL merchants new and old add payment info.... -.- Rant End. :)

Merchant sells only high quality mesh and no sculpted or standard prim itemsI'm sorry but I don't know what THAT would have to do with anything But, I think anyone looking to purchase full perm meshes should RESEARCH first! Go to Turbosquid.com or Renderosity.com and have a look around, get familiar with the meshes on these sites so that you are less likely to purchase a stolen one in sl. Some of us DO have stores on these other sites but like mine on Turbosquid is the same name as in SL. There seems to be a new mesh store on the scene everyday now, becareful cause there' alot of people out there just selling annnnything to make a dollar and it's honestly just getting old Not to say every new mesh store is a hack but some are.

For the creator there are several advantages of having your customers shop in world vs on the marketplace. For one, 5% of our sales on MP go to LL.. Sales in world however go directly to us without the middle man factor and I mean who the hell wants to PAY the Lindens ANYTHING? -.- I don't ... Also, every shopper who comes on your land helps with the traffic count, higher traffic = more people stopping by to see what the big deal is lol . It's usually easier for people to try demos in world and as someone said above impulse buying happens more in world then on mp

Technically, a person can DMCA anything they want.. I could DMCA the SL SKY if I wanted to. You're not supposed to DMCA stuff that's not yours but people do it everyday -.- If it goes to court tho they could get in big trouble tho

My sales have actually risen in the last week by alot There's lots of reason sales can go down sometimes though, holidays are usually slow and since it's nearing the end of summer I'd imagne lots of people are probably taking vacations with their families before Fall get's here Just a theory tho <3

If you use Google Chrome there are extensions you can download that will block all ads. I've been using AdBlock for google chrome and I havent seen a side add in a hot minute I'm use Firefox has something like it aswell. <3

I asked this a few weeks ago too. Unfortunately there is not. I sat for a good hour or so manually deleting my unlisted items. What I did though was open several tabs, set them all to unlisted items and then go down the list in each tab and delete... That was the fasted way I could figure to do it. Good Luck <3
