  1. Okay, what I suggest was a bit harsh and what I meant by it was not to ignore every new store, but these stores popping up out of nowhere selling these very expensive meshes that just look AMAZING, almost TOO amazing for SL... Those are the ones I would def be weary of, ask for a demo, check to make sure they have payment on file and they are a seasoned avatar and all that. I just HATE to see this happen to people over and over again -.- It's getting really old and for many of us sl isnt just play money, its RL money and getting played like that can really hurt the pocket.
  2. Ew, this happened to me once too! Me being a dumbass -.- I found a BEAUTIFUL mesh jacket on mp and it was like 8000L ... No demo and I bought it anyways! Got a box with a notecard in it asking me to email them to get my items ... I emailed and of course got no response at all EVER... Reported them many times and every Linden told me there was nothing they could do, that it was a matter that had to be settled between me and the seller. .... I was PISSED! So, basically after going OFF on the lindens over this many times with no success I guess all that we can do when this kind of thing happens is file a law suit. But, how you would go about that I have no clue and who wants to spend thousands of rl dollars fighting over like 40 bucks -.- It sucks and honestly I don't know how LL get's away with letting these types of things just slide under the rug. My suggestion, IGNORE the stores that pop up out of nowhere. I hate to say that but alot of these random stores are bs! Shop with the full perm sellers you KNOW are legit and have been around for awhile. That's what I do anyways and havent been screwed over since that one time. Good Luck hun!
  3. It all depends really, there's no way to say if your going to make better sales selling non full perm or full perm. As for me, full perm has always been where most of my sales come from, but I also spend alot of time branding my products, advertiseing and marketing aswell as making sure I have top notch display images for my products. I'd say try both! Put some items out as full perm and some as non full perm and see where most of your sales are coming from. good luck <3
  4. I still have I think two items on my main Angelred courier full permission marketplace. Its highly annoying to have your vendors which are not boo. Mixed with booby stuff you didn't even make
  5. And why exactly would we want to post SL **bleep** on amazon?? This is the first ive heard of this and I have to say it sounds pretty stupid people don't search for SL stuff on amazon hahha

  9. You might want to try Avastar for blender, it comes with some very good tutorials on the website. Rigging is really easy with avastar but you will also need to learn to weight paint in most cases which can be a headache, or at least it is for me lol. Good Luck! Avastar http://blog.machinimatrix.org/avastar/
  10. YAY! Tysm!! Ill def give this a shot!
  11. Does anyone know of any good tutorials for rigging your mesh to the sl avatar in 3ds maxx? I've tried it many times with blender and avastar with nothing but frustration. I need to know where to get the model for 3ds maxx to rig on and some tutorials pleaaase! I've looked on Youtube which is normally a good source for learning these things but I'm really not finding anything. :(

  14. I just came on here to report this same issue... This is highly annoying and hurting my business... When I release new items in apparel/clothing textures they are usually at the top of relevance within the first or second day. But since DD my listings just stay the same no matter how many i'm really selling! Plus, I have a weird listing in my store... The name of it is one of my oooolllldddddd items which is not even in my store anymore nor is there a magic box anywhere with it in it. The picture on it is some car creation kit that isnt my picture AT ALL.... I'm filing a ticket about all this tonight. SL is my RL job as it is for many of us and we NEED our stores to work correctly and list in the categories where they are supposed to be. (
  15. begging isnt cute... you want money? MAKE IT YOURSELF
  16. Hi there, I'm the owner of AngelRED Couture and we have just opened a new full sim location and have a shopping center surrounding it. Rent is 2L per prim, you can get as many prims as you think you may need up to about 500. If you'd like to take a look here is our surl and if your interested just send me a notecard in world with a link to your marketplace or a main store so we can check out what kind of items you'd be offering. We are being selective about who we rent. The sim will be very busy with high traffic coming in daily after our grand opening this next weekend and we want some very good shops http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/The%20Eternity/148/153/23 Happy Easter hun best of luck to you! <3 Lexi Zelin
  17. Nevermind finally figured it out! It's ctrl + . on the numberpad
  18. Hello, I'm just starting to create mesh but I'm trying to work with Blender 2.6 instead of Jass which I used for sculpts and purchased through SL.. My question is. In Jass Magic, I would click on an area I wanted to focus my view on and then press "C" and then the area I wanted to zoom in on or work around was then in my focus... does that make sense? Well, I've tried doing this in Blender 2.6 and it does nothing for me. So, how do I focus my view on a certain area in the newest blender? Anyone who knows please please help because I litterally can't do any sculpting without this option :(( tysm! Lexi Zelin - Owner @ AngelRED Couture
  19. Wanted to tell you thanks for posting this! I wrote him and finished my interview up today so me and my store AngelRED Couture will be featured in the book aswell thanks again for the info!
  20. You aswell as every are entitled to your own opinion on the issue. But, you might aswell go ahead and close your SL account, close that store you own aswell because if these bills are passed it's not just going to affect the DJ's in SL. It's going to affect all of Linden Labs and the US government will have the ability to close Linden Labs all together because it is 'possible' for users to upload or share copyrighted property within secondlife. The same goes for Facebook, Youtube, Google, Reedit, Twitter, Tumblr, Photobucket...Pretty much any social networking or online community that allows users to share videos, and copyrighted imagery. Aswell as communities such as Secondlife that is completely user content driven. Yes, piracy and copyright infringement is a big issue online and it IS something that needs to be handled but it should not involve the US government having the ability to completely black out popular websites and online communities. This is 2012. If these laws pass the internet will basically be reverted back to 1996. Online innovation will be done. Investors have already stated that they will be reluctant to invest in any online start up businesses if these laws are passed because it would be too risky for them financially. Online innovation as we know it will be dead. Many people will lose jobs because of online companies closing and that will put America in even more of a economical bind. Stocks in these internet companies will die putting the entire world in a bind. Have your opinion, you are entitled to it of course. But, do you really want to wake up one day and find that the internet has taken a giant step backwards and amazing creations such as virtual worlds like SecondLife that are completely user driven are gone forever? I don't and many others agree that's why we oppose these acts. Not because we want copyright infringement and piracy to continue but because we want it handled in a less extreme manner.
