Okay, thank you everyone!

I currently have a premium account and an extra 1024m2 paid for, tier-wise. I have a nice houseboat in Bellisaria with the standard 351 prim allowance set to a group. If I donate my 1024 extra tier to that group, can I increase the prim allowance on that parcel in Bellisaria to 703? Not sure I understand how donating works with regards to prims/LI. Thanks!

I've seen it off an on as well in the past few days, grey textures lasting noticeably long (in SL terms, i.e., maybe 5-8 seconds) but I always assume there's simply a clog in the pipe somewhere that will eventually load things for me.

I've been a designer since we had to take our Postscript files to specialist folks (aka service bureaus) with Linotype machines to print for us, then take then back the printed output on shiny white paper and paste up columns of text on white boards so that it could be photographed and have plates made from them for printing. Hell, I knew folks whose job was to etch film with precise tools to add or remove items. I have even typeset by hand, I'm that old! I dumped Adobe and their horrific rent models years ago. If you're on macOS, these days I'd recommend Pixelmator Pro or Affinity Photos for your Photoshop style work, and Affinity Designer to replace Illustrator. All of these offer more than enough features to replace the dominant guy for 99.5% of design work (and thank heavens Designer finally got the find / replace the same colour tool, that took them long enough). GIMP is also quite good, if you have zero budget. For my digital painting work I rely on a mix of paid and free tools, with a whack load of custom brushes I created, mainly Painter and Krita (free and pretty darn good), and a high end tablet. And even though I don't have to so much, I still paint digitally in the exact same manner I do in traditional media ... wash the surface with a rough base of orange/pink/yellow ochre/burnt umber depending on what the subject is, sketch, block, etc. I don't have to gesso a digital surface, though, which is nice. I only use Pixelmator to make colour adjustments at the end, if needed. No filters ever.

I have downsized now, and only have two 1024s. One houseboat in Bellesaria with a gallery to view (not buy) my art way up above it for my Premium account, and a stunning, forested with stream second 1024 in Campbell coast for my male alt, who really needed his own space. Plus a skybox above that parcel for a friend to use when she is online.

Thank you to the nearly 200 people who have peeked into this miserably attempted sale. I'll be abandoning the land tomorrow morning and someone can just claim it from LL. Way too much time and effort for the return at this point. Have a lovely night

Same deal as last night! Except longer. Starting now (Saturday 3PM SLT) and running until 7:30PM SLT. Four-and-a-half hours to buy a great 2048 sailing waterfront parcel and get a free piece of my art. If I get to 200 views and no buys I'll probably abandon it and you can do the paperwork with Linden to get it back.

So, I fired up my Maitreya with both my Lelutka and my CATWAHDPro Majer Strong head. Granted, I am only wearing a tight dress, heels, bracelets and rings, hair from DOUX, and a choker around my neck (RLV enabled but turned off, I just loved the choker design, dislike the RLV stuff). I am sitting at ... 54706 complexity VisTris 1.19M EstMaxTris1.08M 275m^2 (I have no clue what this measures) Is this low? Good? Better than Legacy?

Apologies, I am such a ditz. I did not have "Anyone can visit" checked and, therefore, had created by accidental ban lines around this parcel. I've checked it now and it can be visited. (OMG, is this why it hasn't been selling?)

Kupra is getting a lot of good press. Legacy is a better looking shape than my Maitreya (I'm an artist and know body shapes very well, even selling a guide to make your shape correct by showing how impossibly long most avatars legs are, and how unrealistic your torso shape is), agreed, but their HUD is laggy and tied to their servers, and regardless of how unlikely it is to mess it up, I don't want my 5000L HUD relying/living on their server. Sadly, I can not make Kurpa slender enough in terms of hip width and butt size to buy them, either, despite wanting to support the creator. Think 5'6" 110 pound B-cup shape with a tiny tush. If someone can show me a skinny Kupra though, I can be pursuaded. And oh yes ... DEMO everything you intend on buying from bodies and heads to skins, all the way down to belly piercings and bracelets. No demo, no buy. @BookishMelinoe I know that the complexity count issue is a big can of worms here, but I'm the same. I usually sit well under 50K even dolled up and jewellery on.

Gorgeous place. But please, how hard is it to list the price and rating? This should be required when folks list their parcel, to make it more efficient and easy for potential buyers. Moderate.15,000L. That came out meaner sounding than I meant so I adjusted some words ... sorry!

Had this same problem, then found out through the grapevine this girl just dropped off everyone's radar all at once. Like, she's gone on all our mutual friends lists. So this isn't a viewer issue, I suspect this one dropped out of sight intentionally. You know, a goodbye and/or brief "So long, and thanks for all the fish" would have been nice. I don't need an explanation.

Rebel Pill?

Having juggled me and my male alt, and having started on one account but with two distinct looks (i.e., what Claire refers to as an "alter ego"), I had to simply bite the bullet and create "his own" account. Meant re-buying most of the stuff "he" owned. Now to appear as the male me, I have to log out as Kat and in as him and vice versa. The biggest benefit to me is that I can have a traditionally male- and female-sounding names for each account. Oddest thing is that I now refer to my other avatar in the second person all the time, in conversations. I was on as him this morning, and met someone and had to say that this one (Kat) is a real handful after she asked if Kat was my spouse. BTW, I am Kat 90% of my time in SL, open with the fact that I am driving a purely female avatar as a guy behind the scenes, and don't think I've ever even posted in the forums as my male persona.
