I hope you are right! I could not warm up to the Ranch theme so am pursuing other themes and ideas while we wait for the next 2048 theme to drop. My preference is still to have some 2048 parcels mixed into every theme but I do realize that there may be operational constraints to that which I am unaware of.

The open-plan options in many of the homes are your friend then! Plus the creative and talented designers in SL have created fascinating add-ons for the interiors and exteriors of every Linden Home theme so far (and will be producing for the newest Ranch theme as soon as they catch up on their sleep!) That wouldn't fit with my "needs"; I would like at some point to grab an old name for an alt who was created long after that specific name was retired.

I would not mind at all paying a fee to obtain a retired last name. Has that been considered and rejected or may I hope?? 😆

Tiggie and I are enjoying our new little corner on the Blake Sea and hope that this will be semi-permanent or better. Things have been rough in this corner with two separate marinas coming and then disappearing so we lost our previous little corners. But this time, I am renting directly from the region owner and hoping for smooth sailing.......... Wish us fair winds, please!

I am sure there will be add-ons for every model of LH Ranch home but it may take a bit of time for the designers to get to know the individual homes and build for them.

The Knotty Pine is just too much house for me so Tiggie and I made our own secret attic room for the Creek Stone. 😁 Granted, one has to click on the sleeping bag or a chair or something to enter but that's okay; I like "secret". Now to decide on some wallpaper.....

LOL, feeling somewhat the same, I am going to try the smallest model, Creek Stone, so that I will have plenty of land left for porches, outbuildings, etc.

The new regions, west of the Stilts, are live now though not visible in detail on the map so you can visit them and look around at all the variations of the theme.
