I was so excited when I heard that last names are back this year, because I also got caught by this "login name is your avatar name but you will find out in world" thing. I was so disappointed, especially because I had already one old avatar with first and last name, but forgot the password and email I used (it was pretty old and I thought I would never come back to SL). I simply expected that LL might have done that as in online games - you create account with account name (login name) and then you can add some characters with separate names. Surprise, surprise... Anyway, I don't mind paying for a change right now but I believe it should not be only for premium accounts. I understand premium account as some long-term commitment to pay in exchange for some benefits. A name change is one time action and it should be charged like this. From the other hand, I am already used to my first and last names in my display name and I bet my last name will never be on LL last names list, so I do not really know if I want to change, even if I hate the login name I am stuck with. #secondlifeworldproblems

I talk to 2 friends more or less regularily. I am also an introvert and it is difficult for me to have a meaningless conversation where both sides desperately try to find something in common to talk about. But with these two there’s always something to talk about and even meaningless chats are not so painful. From the other hand, if any of us is busy then we respect that. I wish that was easier to meet people and pass that gate where even chats about nothing are fun, simply because you already like each other

When I logged to SL today, I experienced very similar situation as @Syn Anatine described. There he was, a naked guy, wearing only shoes, relaxing on my bed as if he was waiting for someone. Just a moment later his lady arrived and joined him. I approached them and told the guy that he could at least take his shoes off. He told me to f... off and they disappeared. My first intruder was so much nicer, at least she rezzed a cake for me.

I usually keep the main structure of the folders like this: - AVATAR - CLOTHING - HOME AND GARDEN - OTHERS Where I have a lot of subfolders, for example in AVATAR I have one main folder for head relates stuffs (and again, subfolders, for heads, skin appliers, make up, hair etc) and the same for body (bodies, skin appliers, attachments etc). Clothing is, I guess, obvious - divided by type (beach, lingerie, shoes, outerwear, bottom, tops etc). Home and garden is by furniture, deco, buildings with subfolders. Others is for everything else. When I unpack new item, I try to get rid as much as possible from the folder, usually delete a landmark, a notecard and in case of clothing, all copies for bodies I don't use. If there's no extra hud, then I simply move items only to the proper folders, without the original folder. If there's a hud or huds, or several versions of the same clothing and I am going to use them all, I keep the original folder. This is easy because I do not have so many items, comparing to what I have heard from others. I am now around 9700 but I am going to remove some, so I guess I will be again below 8k. But I am no blogger and I don't like gathering things just in case they might be useful later.

I wonder how exactly the return of the last names is going to look like. Hope it doesn't mean we are stuck with current names as first names and we will be able to customise only the Resident part.

1. Do you keep SL apart from RL? Are you open about RL with people in SL? Do you tell your RL friends about SL? Well, I spend my real time in SL, so it is in my opinion impossible to keep them totally apart. I usually behave similar way in both, but I am less open about facts from my real life, because I don't think they should matter, especially when I have just met someone. It also depends on the nature of possible relation. I tell my RL friends about SL only if they ask. But they don't. 2. Do you act very differently in SL than in RL? Not so much, as I said. I don't pretend to be someone else however I visit clubs, venues, different places more often in SL than RL because it is simpler 3. Do you spend a lot of time in SL? Do you think you can spend less time, if RL demands it? Do you think SL is addictive? I don't think so. There are weeks when I am online every evening but there are months when I am not online even for one hour. If RL demands, I spend my time in RL and it is not a problem. Yes, SL can be addictive but it is not my addiction. 4. Do you think SL affected or changed your RL self? In a good or in a bad way? It might but I am not aware of that. But I'd say no, it doesn't affect me. 5. Do you think SL only relationship can be considered as an RL adultery? Can you manage both relationship without getting in trouble? I think it is possible, depending how the relationship is defined. There are people in rp-relationships, there are others who are in open relationships in RL etc so I don't believe it is easy to say when it is cheating and when it is not. I personally don't have much experience, I don't get involved much. 6. What is the most important thing there is about SL for you? Freedom of choice. 7. Do you think a lot about things that happened in SL when you are offline? Not really.

I have had only one intruder that I am aware of. That was couple of months ago. It was a newbie in SL, I guess she was simply walking around and found my home. It was not protected, so she entered my home and started to look around, try different furniture animations etc. Then she noticed me and asked if she could live with me and be my friend. I said no, but she kept asking, and still using different animations, this time in the kitchen. I was just about to eject her from the land when she said "Look, I've baked a cake for you, can I live with you now?" I laughed but ejected her anyway.
