  1. Pet Delight - finally started testing / debugging the new Parser today (which means the precursor scripts are all working well enough). First, probably parse BASIC to LSL. Just have to create and test a lot of Schemas.
  2. Thanks, I saw a post about the increase to 128k but missed this one. Meanwhile, I realized that I should change my approach so still don't need it..yet! My use-case was to be "XX,100", "XX,200" etc. but due to other issues I'll be using "XX,0", "XX,1" and storing the "100" and "200" as data elements. Much simpler.
  3. TBH, I think so. I agree, casting aspersions on the Federal Bikini Inspectors won't win you any friends in Second Life, where we need all the help inspecting Bikinis (and/or Baloney) that we can get.
  4. I have an obvious idea. I am happy for everyone to shoot it down, here goes! LL could add a basic "keywords check" to the code that displays these input boxes (llTextBox), to check for obvious things like "password" and warn the user with an OFFICIAL pop-up message (which the user must confirm) before displaying the dialog. This could be done "once", "once per session", etc. Basic phishing check.
  5. This makes sense, from a "relevance" perspective.
  6. Why are new users called "noobies"? Because, like "new bees", they can barely fly.
  7. ATM, this is implemented on Blue Steel regions running server version 2023-02-02.578100. LSDFindKeys() will now sort alphanumerically before index input handling, just like LSDListKeys. LL allegedly will slow roll this code, so it will hopefully be grid-wide by March 7th. Checking back, do we know if the sorting ever got sorted out with llLinksetDataFindKeys()? The Wiki still says, "Unlike llLinksetDataListKeys, the order of the returned list is neither usefully sorted nor predictable.".
  8. Theoretically, today's modern-day search users should be experts at search engines from searching for detailed umm...sensitive materials. Example, "Beach fun" NOT dwarves
  9. Next, you'll say I should trust Binge! Or Bing, or whatever it is!
  10. I am surprised no-one pointed out, that the OP's male companion would probably be welcome, because he is smoking hot.
  11. At least your suggestions seem rooted in some type of optimism. Gold star!
  12. Sorry, but I agree that place-reviews are not going to happen, mostly because marketplace reviews are abused, and place-reviews would ultimately be spammed and useless.
  13. I'd be afraid that Mermaids, being related to Sirens, would lure many a sailor to a watery grave. What with their Goddess-like feminine, yet fishy-smelling wiles, and all.
  14. If a Region were to openly state "thus-and-so are not welcome here, because reasons", it would just invite challengers from Griefers. Better that people experience the occasional "not fair!!1!!" Ban, as is the Region or Parcel owner's / manager's absolute right in Second Life. Why fix what ain't broke? If you don't like it, well, there are options. ("Don't go where you aren't wanted" is #1)
  15. Makes me wonder, if those suspicious people who use "duck-duck-goose" or whatever, because they don't trust Google, can find answers to the Second Life questions. I don't trust DDG enough to actually try it and find out.
  16. +1 on Rick's answer for giving an actual explanation, without saying "go read this over here..", or "use tech Google"!
  17. Oh sure, when MOLES do it, it's ok to drop an anvil on someone! 😉
  18. Did we settle that "racism" is not relevant to country of origin or politics? The inclusion of "racism" in the original post was bothersome.
