Did you try to rez at the Blake Sea ? It's a very large free sailing sim, so you should be able to rez a yacht and sail around even without owning land. What did you buy?

Only one=English and like Canoro, I admire people who can understand and use other languages. I have a girlfriend who speaks 7. I sometimes say I will learn French or maybe German (that one seems a bit easier) but I wonder if I ever will get the time!

Ken....Orange is a good colour for you, warm and optimistic personality. Id be happy with black and white, though it depends on who you talking to, if they think either is a colour. A scientist will give you an answer based on physics, a child about to colour with crayons, has other ideas. Either way, together they are dramatic. Loved the neo-noir movie Sin City.

Nice walls Aethelwine....I love living surrounded by water too. Its so peaceful listening to the waves and seagulls. I dont sail (yet) but do have a jetski. Which gets returned often when I crash through some border crossings. My navigation needs work too.

I wish I made it more on weekends too....as weekdays Im usually on when sl is quiet.

Im not sure. I will of course check it out and as someone said, if my friends go over then I might be persuaded to too. When I started sl I spent very little, now I buy something every week....its additive and I tell myself its so little really compared to what some people spend rl on sports and hobbies, drinks and eating out.

Im with Bobbie and take Avi appearance as legit. But if you do feel you want to tell the truth, say so in your profile as others suggest, bearing in mind this might put some people off and they may not want to know anymore about you. If you keep quiet and play along I think its unfair then to reveal your true identity down the track. Keep the illusion alive.

Thanks so much Elite....I have done as you suggested now too :matte-motes-kiss: I have SLT clock in my sl home and also know that secondlife.com (events page) has current slt if ever I wanted to check. Of course when I open Firestorm, the current time is there too (but Im not always on home computer so this option is not always open). Another thing I do is to use this clock if I want to convert time ahead (and not get days mixed up) Go to Time Converter in Time Zone drop down menu.

Maybe thats it Dillon. And I miss her posts too. Last weekend I logged into SL from my brothers place (he has very fast internet) and the difference with graphics I was seeing was amazing. I fell in love with Sl even more

Oh YES, pretty colours. Thats so much harder to get the right balance than monochrome rooms. You do have a good eye Caitlin. My bedroom is up in the loft and the walls slope many ways, making it difficult to put anything on them or even up against the wall. Sill I love it and there is a floor to ceiling window at each end with great views.
