  1. Hello! I understand that you are concerned about your friends account, unfortunately though due to our privacy policy we are unable to discuss another Resident's account with anyone. If your friend however did get banned and did not receive a message stating why, they can send in a Support case and should at the very least receive a response. Since this should not be discussed further here on the forums, I am going to go ahead and lock the thread following my reply, but as I mentioned, I would encourage your friend to submit a Support case.
  2. That is correct, once you have reached 500 you will be able to edit your member title.
  3. I once again bring good news, we have been listening to the concerns of the community regarding the short edit time limit and have now increased this to the requested 24 hour time limit. We hope this helps when participating in the conversations around the forums.
  4. Oh look, it is now pinned! No need to file a feature request for this. If its a reasonable request and it makes sense for it to be pinned, then it shall be pinned!
  5. You're welcome! I am glad I was able to assist with this.
  6. @Innula Zenovka I do believe, and hope that I have fixed this. Can you try testing it again?
  7. I think this is an excellent idea to have a topic with some useful tips. I have pinned this thread so that it will continue to stay at the top of the forum.
  8. Hello! I just wanted to take a moment and let everyone know that the ability to upload an attachment is now available.
  9. @Whirly Fizzle Unfortunately the ability to have it on by default is not an option, I already tried.
  10. Hey Bee, Unfortunately there will be no ability to delete posts at this time. What you may consider doing, rather than posting a new topic, is just posting an update in the actual thread, I have seen various land owners doing this already and it seems to be working without issue. Alternatively as I am betting you already know, we do also offer the option to take out a classified ad for land within Second Life as well.
  11. @Lisa006 Baxton I looked into this to see if that was an option and unfortunately it is not. I am glad to hear that you were able to locate the option to turn it on though! Admittedly, I had to do the same after realizing I too was not seeing any signatures.
  12. Hello! I just wanted to take a moment and let everyone know that we are listening to the feedback that we are receiving and at this time have upped the time limit for being able to edit to 60 minutes. This should give adequate time to review your post, get a snack, go for a walk, and still come back and edit your post some more. While we may not be able to grant every request, please do continue to provide feedback and submit reasonable requests and we will review and discuss them.
  13. Hey Zenless, I am sorry to hear of all the problems you are having right now, I understand how frustrating this is. The Governance team is the ones who will be able to properly investigate this matter and the only way to ensure they get the report, in a timely manner is by sending in an Abuse Report. Just make sure you include all the information you possibly can in the report. If you need to file multiple reports regarding the matter, make sure you make a note in there that this is linked to multiple reports around the issue. I can assure you that the Governance team does infact review every single report that they get, so please always make sure you are filing an abuse report. Submitting a support case, or contacting via other means may actually cause the problem to take longer to be resolved. That being said, I have given the Governance team a heads up that there are some Abuse Reports regarding this matter, and that they can likely expect more. ~Tommy Linden
  14. Hello! I am sorry to hear that you are having a problem with Second Life. We cannot provide you with direct assistance on the matter via the forums, but I did create a support case for you. To review the case and add any additional information, login at www.support.secondlife.com/history/, and open Case #02451748 A support agent will update your case and will work to help you resolve the issue. -Tommy Linden
  15. Hey Prokofy Neva, Thank you for your concern regarding the Brown region being down, rest assured that we take this sort of matter quite seriously. The Governance team investigated it and it turns out that the region was indeed being griefed rather severely. Unfortunately due to the complex nature of the matter, it did take us longer than even we would have liked to get the region back up again. The good news is though, it has been cleaned up and as you have stated the region is available again.
  16. Hello! Looks like this is the start of a great conversation happening here, please remember when participating in the discussion, to be mindful of the Community Guidelines and to keep it relevant to the topic at hand. If you can't, it may result in your post, or even more unfortunately, the entire thread having to be moved. -Tommy Linden
  17. Hey Loli Lusch, While I can not interpret the policies for you, I have a link in which you can review the Mainland Policies. If you want to check it out, just click here: Linden Lab Official: Mainland Policies -Tommy Linden
  18. Unfortunately all I can say is to watch the link that I provided for any updates.
  19. Hello, We are indeed currently having an unscheduled maintence. As always, if you have trouble logging in I suggest checking the following link for any updates first: http://status.secondlifegrid.net/. If you see no current issues listed there, then you can panic, but only for 1 second, because all you will need to do is send in a support case and a member of support will assist you, or advise you of any current issues. -- Tommy Linden
  20. Hello! entity0x is correct in that you need to submit a Support Case. Fortunately, I see that you have already done so and it is currently awaiting your reply so that we can further assist you. For future reference, any time you have issues with Billing, please feel free to submit a Support Case (you can do so by going to this handy link here: https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/) or alternatively, you can call one of our Billing support numbers (Toll-Free (US/Canada): 800.294.1067 or Long-Distance: 703.286.6277) and they should also be able to assist you. Warm Regards, Tommy Linden
