It used to be that you were notified both before AND after the payment was taken, but they first discontinued the advance notice and now, as I said, appear to have discontinued the post-payment notification as well. They did not discontinue it. I received the e-mail march 1st for my 3 quarter premium plan If you're by chance use gmail, check the social networking sub folder as that's where it lands, while all other SL mails go straight into my normal inbox.
  2. Ah, I was thinking you meant a yard sale, but you'd actually want a business depending fully on gacha machines? And yes, that is basically what you would do.
  3. Gacha's are never free, you always pay 'playing' them. And it's no longer frowned upon to sell gacha items. It used to be at the beginning of the hype, during the first few gacha arcades. I've been following the trend closely, both as a gacha costumer and by having my own gacha machines people play. There is absolutely nothing wrong anymore with giving away, trading or selling the gacha items you paid for. The only place it's frowned upon to sell instead of trade gacha items is in the Gacha Arcade group, as it's specific for trading only. But the gacha arcade does not frown upon anyone selling things anyway, they just do not want it in their group as that is not its purpose.
  4. What actually is your definion of a 'gacha business' ? I know what gacha's are, but I've never heard the actual term of gacha business so I am confused.
  5. I've never had a no copy prefab, but I got one from the arcade, and I went to a sand box to see what it looked like. I used the rezzer to rez it, and when I clicked on 'Remove' it gave me the warning that the no copy contents will be lost. Now I am stumped as to how I get the prefab back into the rezzer o.o could anyone shed some light on this please?
  6. Hmm, I wonder if it has to do with the asterik after Love, which could technically be seen as an abbreviation to something less innocent. Or perhaps it's the link? Either way it stumps me, too. Oh and you forgot the t in 'Project'
  7. This is a bug indeed that you need to file a ticket for. It happened to a much older avatar of mine which is about 7 years old. I had the same problem as you, and it took a Linden to fix it manually. File a ticket, or if you're a premium user, contact their live chat support about it.
  8. The easiest way to get shoes with feet that match your skin 100% is to buy from those skin creators that offer appliers with their skin. Same for shoe creators. If you go for slink feet (I have them and love them dearly) you will have to make sure to buy skins that offer slink appliers. If you don't go for slink, then make sure that the shoes your purchase have the most common skins as appliers. There's a few merchants who do that. Personally in my humble opinion, I'd suggest slink, there's a ton of skin creators that offer appliers for them and each slink shoe you buy from any creators will fit 100% to your skin.
  10. I'm making an open book that the avatar wears, and above the book float several objects (as if they popped out of the book). I would like to animate the objects to spin and float without affecting the avatar or the book. Please contact me with your rate if you can do this, thanks :)

"I dont want that", I tell them "I'm the customer, I want sausages and mash". Lol, ever went to a chinese place in RL and ordered Escargot? Or went to Burger King and ordered a subway? How well did that work out there? If this were RL you'd have a double story to tell, one on notalwaysright and one on notalwaysworking

I feel lost, I am a man stuck on the island of Amazon women. all this beautiful womens are lashing to me with the whip tazz...:matte-motes-sour: Wow, are you and the OP the same person? This post, in addition to the OP basically calling me a whore because I am a female when I told him SL is not a game (Post obviously got deleted because wtf) really makes me think.
  13. IvanTwin Rogers wrote: I support your enthusiasm, and don't get discouraged by the negative comments of many here, what happens is that these forums are full of adult old people of more than 30 years and 40 years of age, and they are offended when someone tells them that second life is a game, in my personal opinion, second life is a game, but in a virtual world, here there are many people, grandfathers and grandmothers stuck in second life and for them is difficult to recognize that this is a game, along with your plans, these forums are full of a bunch of olders ancients of 40, 50 and 60 :matte-motes-angry: Oh my god, what a shock must it be to you to realise I am nowhere near 30? GASP! Also, failing to see any negative post. What is up with the drama queens in this thread?
  14. Second life is not a game. It is not WoW, Tera, Aion. Heck it isn't even Puzzle Pirates! Second Life is a 3D world. While there is player created games in it, SL itself is not a game. Judging by your last post you treat it as a run off the mill mmorpg when it's anything but. It is not a game, henceforth it cannot be played as such. There is roleplays inside it, skill based and notso skill based games, but SL itself is NOT a game. It cannot be played. So either you're screwing up your terminology good and proper or you missunderstand what SL is on an epic scale.

Li. As in, the abbrevation for Land Impact. Yep, it's adult.
  16. Great going to ruin any chances of a job by acting like a complete **bleep**. Models are a dime a dozen and guess what? The best are those who are polite and take advise, since you can't do that only a fool would hire you. Congrats on ruining your chances.
  17. 80% of my inventory is Prefabs, furniture and landscaping/garden items and each time I fall in love with a house or any of the other I've named I always find myself thinking; good god I want my home to be like that.
  18. Well, there's no mention whether this is a paid job or merely just for roleplaying needs, which I'd then argue against that it's an actual employement in the sense of this forum sub section. What are the benefits of being a teacher other than roleplaying as a teacher?
  19. DamienThor wrote: for a "Advisor" you sure know how to make people feel welcome and cause issues Seriously? You've been on the forums since 2011 and don't know yet that forum titles are automatically gained by the amount of posts and kudos you have?! Also, what's up with all that bragging?
  20. I understand your frustration, but I understand her too. I don't think she minds the planes at all, but truly doesn't want anyone in her skybox (and doesn't listen to reason that that is not possible.) I've been living on mainland for 3 month now. On a beautiful snowland parcel bordering a protected Linden River that lets you sail to 100s of sims. 2 of these month I have lived there residentially.....and got really damn tired of random people entering my house to practically live in it /while/ I was in the house as well. I was entirely ignored Someone even IM'ed me asking to turn off Owner only access to my sexbed menu. I put banlines for a few days then too >.> I don't mind random people appreciating a well furnished log cabin and to spend some time in it, I even met some nice people this way but my home is NOT someone elses pleasure island or THEIR home! Now I have my store on it and random people still come and look around (A gingerbread house with candy trees will draw some attention LOL) BUT I wish we could have banlines for a skybox too. Just yesterday I was working on a new set of Petit-Four Chairs when someone came flying up to me. It went like this: Me: Oh hi, can I help you? Them: I'm here for the party! Me: ...what party? Them: Our engagement. He left at that point, thankfully because my fingers were hovering over the keyboard and for once in my life I was actually too stunned to come up with a witty response. Not sure how it is with other pieces of mainland but I absolutely understand the use of banlines, a neighbour of mine put them up recently too. And I totally used your post to rant a little, I know, bite me pfft x3
  21. Before you do any of the things the above two have stated, sometimes it already helps to simply unplug your computer, to open it and to clear the innards of it with a can of compressed air, a vacuum cleaner (very VERY carefully but that's what I have been doing for years) and a normal small painters brush. I have three cats, so once every two month I open up my tower and clear out all the dust bunnies and cat hair. I've had the same problem as you two years ago and tried a lot of things, including going into the BIOS, and then a friend of mine pointed out to just open the comp and check how dirty it's innards are. Boy was that a sight Just saying, sometimes the easiest solutions help, but only sometimes, in case this doesn't help you go for the suggestions above, they're very good.
  22. 06/04/2007 (6 years 7 months; 2412 days) If the inventory on this one wasn't so incredibly huge I'd go back to having a surname x3
  23. This seems like a huge workload for a comission basis job. All estate agencies hiring that pay comission only request the employees to help interested costumers to find the perfect lot and to help them with any questions they might have. Landscaping is a wholly different job section, and *finding* tenants, too. Considering they literally do all the work while you reap in the profit I'd suggest you reconsider. Or hope to find a poor soul desperate for a couple of linden for much more work than they'd have at other rental agencies.

Cynfire wrote: I do not have a ton of money to get a custom avatar so please be very reasonable. and you are not allowed to resell this avatar it is my fursona and my character.and its just plain part of who I am. Since you want someone to build you an avatar from the ground up, it'll take many RL hours and expertise to do that. A reasonable price you'll have to pay for that especially since the creator would not be able to resell it is $50 per hour. Considering the complexity this would amount to at least but most likely upwards of $500 USD. Costum creations do not come cheap and just because you think that'd be unreasonable does not make it so. If you have a very small budget, make do with what is on the market place.
