  1. And nother man trying to excuse with some poor biologytheory.
  2. Pretty senseless tip, if you ask me. I like to visit clubs. There I get to see different people with all kind of looks. And what should I say? They all think of themselves as pretty. Its senseless to walk over to Bob, telling him to reduce muscles or to tell Sandy that she couldn't walk with those giant breasts. The same goes for every other part you mentioned. The people are happy with their avatars, if they wouldn't be happy, they would change them. This reminds me of one big woman telling me I have to adjust my shape, cause I'm too tiny with a size under 2 meters.
  3. There are many different jobs in SL. The payment ranges from nearly nothing to some dollars each day. The high paid jobs are rare and often require skills from RL. Most social jobs in clubs also require to have a nice looking avatar. You may first look around what job you could do and then look where they are offerd. All the time keep in mind, that fun is essential to be happy with a job. If its only about money, you should maybe stay with joining contests or buying some lindens.
  4. Why do you take everything so serious? We don't talk about killing her, her family and her pet. Just about showing her how her behavior gets paid back.
  5. Fighting against unfriendly people can be fun, especially if they are not only unfriendly but silly.
  6. Ok, then my war-idea and that big lighthouse doesn't sound so bad at all :matte-motes-evil:
  7. Aww....a war would have been fun I'm a little in need for fighting and entertainment today....
  8. 1. Avatarnamen sind einzigartig und werden nicht geändert. 2.
  9. Return her house if its on your land and if she puts it back, start a war......or place a fence to show here the borders.
  10. I don't know if there are creators who specializied on custom avatars, so I would suggest to simply ask the owners of the different furry avatar brands here in SL for help. Each price is normaly made between customer and creator, depending on the work they have to do on the avatar. But you can expect it to be much higher than the avatars from the shop.
  11. Its not the avatarage itself that makes people buy. Its the same psychological effect you can have with a price. If people are new to some sort of item they tend to search for something more than just a picture and a short Information. They start to think the pricelevel or in this case the experiance an old member probably have will make it saver to buy a good product. But not all people go shopping like this. If your products are good, people will buy them without asking for age.
  12. The easy way to get a girlfriend/boyfriend without doing the dating-thing? :matte-motes-big-grin-wink:
  13. How did you get that idea? You can't buy someones account from LL. Like in the real world accounts are made by entering personal data and as far as I know you can't buy someones identity I wonder why you would like to have someones account?
  14. WOW Ian! I think I should visit more beaches in the future....:catembarrassed:
  15. Am I the only one thinking Len has too much the shape of a wardrobe? :catsurprised:
  17. Sometimes....I feel like SL is seen by students all over the world as a giant box with white mice in it .
  18. I saw a video on Youtube from someone showing his furry avatar and I thought it might be fun to try.
  19. Its all about the places you go to. I saw that many times myself, when I spend an evening visiting different locations. Some are visited by very friendly joyfull people or just people who are busy with themselves, but still not in a negative way. The most peacefull and friendly places I discovered for me where female and lesbian clubs and ballrooms, plus a couple of tiny clubs. From my experiance I can say places which are popular by newbies and always very very crowded tend to be those with the most disturbing messages you can get. Not angry messages, but the sex stuff you mentioned can happen there. Funny sidenote: As a fantasy or furry avatar I seem to have more peace from that than the normal human woman
  20. A little difficult to answer at first. I have two accounts, but many different avatars. But having more than two accounts would be confusing after a while.
  21. Its only the naked truth. If he brings examples in the discussion that are absolutly senseless (for example: Wow has no renting system, facebook has enough features to keep your stuff not seen by certain users). Not to mention that the owners (in this case two companys) have made also rules which are conected to the use of their product. Thats just the same right every simowner has. They own the land and everything builded on it and so they can make rules about how to "use" their land. And he described clearly how ignorant he was. He didn't care for reading the place description, he didn't care for the notecards and he didn't cared for his environment. If he took the time...like say 1 minute to look on the notices he got and on the things surrounding him he would be not banned from the place. Instead of that he is now blaming the sim owner for his own lazyness and seems to be not in the mood to understand that some people really wish for a certain atmosphere. As you can see I'm a furry too, just like his friend. But I check first if a place is welcoming me with that avatar or not, especially when it is a type of sim, where certain apperance rules are common. With this method I found a pretty ballroom that allows furry avatars and spend a nice hour dancing with a friend.
  22. Sheeba Camino wrote: Sorry for sounding harsh sometimes, enlish is not my mothertongue as I told on the first page. World of Warcraft has 10 millions of players, everybody has the same rights there. Facebook has millions of members, don t think there would be so many members if anybody could kick anybody from his site. SL has around 60 k people online at prime time, that means maybe 200 k active users, most of the sims are ghosttowns and finding a club with 30+ people in it is like finding water in the desert. Wonder why ? Is this really the virtual world you want ? A place evrybody can kick you cos he doesn t like your face or you don t the wear green boots the simowner likes. At what time SL has turned into this place ? When I joined SL years ago it was an adventure, a world to build and explore and everybody gave you a warm welcome on his sim and showed you his work and place. That was the stupiest thing I have seen for a long long time. You are comparing apples to fish. In WoW a player CAN'T own something. Everything belongs to the company and so you only have to follow their rules. They don't contain a dresscode, because you can only wear stuff the company made. But there are other rules you need to follow and if you act against them its also no excuse to say you didn't read them. Facebook also has rules. And if I don't want you to enter my group or to make contact with me, I can mute you. And even facebook is not a place without rules and you can be kicked out of the whole thing. Stop crying over nothing. You wasn't friendly to the sim owners (cause you gave a **bleep** about reading one little sentence) and so you can't expect them to care about your excuse. Its their place and their rules. If you don't like them, go somewhere else. And before you start again with your fluffy dream about how SL was back then....since SL exist, sim owners always made the rules for their land, because they paid for it. See it has someone enters your house. You make the rules and guests have to respect them. And yes, if I visit a rp sim or a ballroom I don't want to see latex dresses and urban clothes when they don't fit the place.
  23. Hey all, I want to change my profile picture (at the moment its something selfdrawn), but I can't find a good place to take a snapshot of my avatar. Any tips where I could go? Cause even my sweet beachhouse doesn't make a satisfying background for it.
  24. As the others said, you can rename the outfit you saved. I don't know if that was what you asked for, cause it doesn't do anything except helping with orientation when you have a lot saved outfits. From your last sentence I guess you want to change your name. Thats impossible. All you can do is creating a display name which you can change only once in a week.
  25. November Velde wrote: My "problem" as it is, is just that. You said it perfectly "Your profile was always public to everyone in second life, now everyone outside can look at it". I do'nt have a problem with people reading my profile in SL. It serves no purpose to have a web-based profile linked to an "in world" platform. I do not wish to start an agruement. I suppose it won't be long until I am given the line "If you don't like it, you can leave." All I ask is that there be a way for people to choose to have one of these or not. But strangers are strangers, no matter from where they can look at your profile. Also nobody who is not interested or involved in SL will search for it or pay attention to it. And even then, your profile provides nothing which is important to hide from the world, cause its just avatarrelated. I just wanted to understand why that is so important to you.
