  1. Sorry for sounding harsh sometimes, enlish is not my mothertongue as I told on the first page. World of Warcraft has 10 millions of players, everybody has the same rights there. Facebook has millions of members, don t think there would be so many members if anybody could kick anybody from his site. SL has around 60 k people online at prime time, that means maybe 200 k active users, most of the sims are ghosttowns and finding a club with 30+ people in it is like finding water in the desert. Wonder why ? Is this really the virtual world you want ? A place evrybody can kick you cos he doesn t like your face or you don t the wear green boots the simowner likes. At what time SL has turned into this place ? When I joined SL years ago it was an adventure, a world to build and explore and everybody gave you a warm welcome on his sim and showed you his work and place.
  2. Ariel you don t want to see the point. You are getting bombed with ncs and LMs each time you are tping into a sim. Do you really read them all ? Espeacialy if it s not your mothertongue. Would you scroll through every nc you are getting for some sentences in your language ? And I didn t go mad and I didn t insult anybody. I told the clubowner that i don t like to be kicked, he told he didn t and I showed him the message one of his staff kicked me. Next minute I was banned and he told me he s standing behind his staff. And again, we are talking about a simple dresscode.
  3. We are both germans, Ari hardly speaks english and I have to translate sentence by sentence. But we understand the poor landowner and americans forgetting not everybody on the world is speaking english fluently. Good night and I wish you all a good time, I don t think I will spend much time in Sl in the next months
  4. The reason was the dresscode. I wore a latexoutfit, my friend was dressed as a furry with a bicker jacket and baggypants. Nothing sexual. We didn t read the ncs, they came in different languages and a few minutes bevore her birthday I had other things in mind than struggeling through a nc and what a clubowner is thinking about a formal dress. A simple IM with something like "...could you change your dress or leave please." and we had bought a dress. But a kick without a comment and a ban after 3 three sentences is really not the way we should give people a warm welcome in SL.
  5. I m in SL for several years, showed a lot of friends this wonderful world, owned sims and spending a lot of money there. Most people i met were wonderful folks and I enjoyed great times with them. Today I had a weired expirience. A good rl friend whos rarly on in SL wanted to spend her last minutes before her birthday with me at the Titanic. There was a live event, we danced a little bit, got bombed with ncs about behavior and dresscode and got kicked. I talked with the owner/staff leader what ever and we got banned. Is this the way we want to show new people SL ?
