if v1 is working good for u then can try cool vl viewer. search on google on that name is a oldskool viewer made by henri beauchamp. he been making since 2007. it can do mesh as well. is made for older computers

when u click the help icon on the quest bar the map open like u say. u also get the red arrow beacon. so just close the map and follow the arrow. when u reach the point the arrow disappear like normal ok is 2 kinds quests. the first one is like a tour. it just takes u to dif places and u get messages in the chat telling u how u doing and where to go next. when u done all that it tell u to go back the basecamp and u get 3 linden$ for that part then in the basecamp building is a machine that give u the cannon quests. so u stand on it. it tells u how many color crystals u have to go out in the fields to get. so u do that and go back to the machine and will give u the cannon quests. when u get to the cannons u have to click on them so they fire. when u do u get paid 5 linden$. then u go back to the base camp and do the other cannons u can just scoom the crystals anytime and cash the blue and green ones at basecamp on the machines in the yard. the other color cash machines in the workshop on tyrahs island i just put this all above here for ppl who not know how to do yet + can make heaps of linden$ off scooming crystals once u know where they grow the most and where is the green and blue ones and big clusters of orange. like i can usual make like 50-80 linden$ in one sweep in about 30-40 mins. cant make that much off camping + sometimes it gets borky like u say. but oh well (: if i crash on there then i go back to the portal park and start over. i not go to the same sim game tho. go to another one. seems to work better for me when that happens if the HUD not attach u can still scoom crystals and cash them so sometimes i just do like that. i not really need the HUD bc i done all the quests and u can only do them once seems like

is lots of places inworld that use bots and vehicles and combinations of both one place u can see them in a variety of ways is London City. u can find on the map on that name they have all kinds of normal vehicles u can ride on. they got a wearable horse as well. they also got some avatar bots that demo things u can do there. they got group joiner bots as well they also got this walking dude bot. he walks all round the city. is good demo of how pathfinding can work. the bus and some the cars works on pathfinding as well, but they normal vehicles and not bots

is not so much the language itself that the complicated part. is the libraries and learning them u can learn c++ language as easy as javascript. they quite similar syntatically. c++ libraries way more work tho to learn. if u going to get into the deep deep parts of networking and systems then u probly better off to start with c++. just bc u will probly get there sooner learning ur first language always takes a lot of time for most ppl. after that it gets easier to pick up other ones u will find that ur classes will be quite simple to start with. most classes more concentrate on algorithms. that more important than the languages themselfs

is blue crystals as well. they worth 2$ each. they quite hard to get bc is only 1 or 2 on each sim and they only come about 1 time every hour i think is good that ppl can get some little linden$ off that game. better than special game credits. so ppl can buy stuff in other ppls shops and help make the world go round is heaps linden$ being given away and must be quite a lot like u say. seems must be a cap overall tho bc the crystals appear on a timer. and the quests is limit to 1 tour and 4 cannons. still is probly way more than resident gamemaker be able to afford i think i think as well that is better that the game stay really simple and i hope that linden not try make the game play more involved or compelling on the realms. will be quite hard for resident gamemakers to compete if linden make like that and reward with linden$ as well. most gamemakers will be able to make way more compelling games than realms but probly not be able to compete on the level of linden$ giving that linden able to do is concerns over permissions and stuff like that but altogether i think will be better for sl than not

u right about how ppl reflect on past ways. we all do that and is a good thing and try not put ourselfs into a hard place again so that we end up in a chit fight. is ego that mostly i think. ego can be a good thing sometimes tho. like there probly not be any rock n roll if not. can be quite a damager tho if just let it go loose as ppl age they change and explore new ways, metallica the same, so the direction change as well for them the diff with linkin park was an age gap thing i think, like u say already. like lp lots younger. lp really look at how their fans using the interwebz and why they doing in the way they do. is why lp made their widget so u could put on ur fan page and personal blog. linking to lp was a way for fans to be included. some the record companies not get it at all. for a time, universal music specially, was forcing utube to block everything even from linking. was quite dumb that linkin park also help pioneer vids on the interwebz that show them doing stuff other than just official buy me releases. was quite cool bc when they share their lives then it bring ppl into the lp family. like u our friend and we are mates. so that was cool. other ppl done that way as well but lp was probly the first big name band to reach that level of conciousness on the interwebz otep was other band that was do that kinda thing as well at the time. i think they was one of the first to make a invite us to ur town thingy on their myspace. like u could frend them and vote on it and they would come ur home town. was way cool that. like they not say buy our concert tickets like commercial ppl do. just say if u want us to come we will. 1000s and 1000s ppl go on there and say pls come most bands not want ppl to rip their stuff. is just some bands try be friends with u. bc friends and mates not rip each other off and not smash u. is more better that way. is pity that some bands and some record companies and some spose be fans not want to be friends and just treat everone else as commodity. is why we always end up with regulations and laws in the end. maybe one day will change. probly only tho when ppl change

is not something u did wrong is sometimes a problem between the viewer and the server u not say which viewer u on. that can make a difference. like on the V2 (the old sidebar) it did exactly what u said unless u detach the people window from the sidebar. is also a problem for some tpvs that as well only way i know how to fix once it starts and clear cache not work, is to do a whole clean install of my viewer. when it fixes me then it usual fix the members as well. dont know why that is tho if it not fix them then i just delete the new roles and do again

i like the linden v3 dont use any of the extra features in tpvs enough to change permanent if ll made the v3 so i could have docking windows and draggable windows outside main window then would be pretty much perfect for me oh! and able to dock the now floating only nearby chat window on the bottom bar top button bar like in niran be good as well

u right. is heaps jiras about groups. all kinds back in the day when ll was inventing all this stuff, groups was intended for groups of friends to colloborate on stuff, mostly making stuff and sharing resources like land to do that on. ll never considered sl was going to end up with shop groups and such with 1000s and 1000s of members. is easy to see now but back in the day not so easy. now there are millions of groups and even more millions of group members needs a whole new system to make it all work now. seems ll thought they had a fix and trials on beta grid seemed to be promising. then stress test and kaboom !!! seems ll not want to patch groups. seems they want to make a whole new system that can do millions. not sure how that going now + the script rotation of avatar been something pp been asking for forever as well i think not being able to do that goes way back to Linden World, the alpha of sl. that was kinda a shooter style game. being able to script ur avatar to turn and shoot is a gamerz hack. auto killer and all that then some ppl made avatar kicker scripts. brash the most popular. in olden days u could kick another avatar over 300m just by bump them with that. no weps required. so was used heaps on newbies in them days. but u had to position ur avatar directly in front of them and face to face square on to do that. if not then the kicker end up going flying and not the target. so that delay any chance of script avatar rotation at that time ll then nerf the push that enable the monsta kicks. can still kick ppl with them scripts but most them kickers, like brash, is just a tiny push now, like 4 meters or so. but can still kick ppl off the sim tho if u double-tap them and u know how to script that. script rotation would make that really really easy to do. way easier than it is now so not much chance at the moment of it coming still is hope tho (: the new pathfinding npc thingy they making will maybe help to fix that one. like if can move npcs then maybe can move avatars the same way as well, but using a diff servery scriptery thingy way. dont know tho. just hope so

western samoa wanting to change their day to same as australia / new zealand, bc one the main reasons is that more western samoans living and working in au/nz than live at home in the islands is quite hard for them ppl to go back and forward and synch their work time off. like is problem to go a wedding or christening on sunday in samoa when is monday where they work. so ppl have to take extra days off work to do that. western samoa quite dependent on the money earned by their ppl in au/nz. western samoa, like most other pacific peoples, quite a family-oriented society. so when have to go then have to go is problem to change tho bc western samoa share same day as american samoa. that on same day as usa. not sure that american samoa be happy to change for much the same reason. if put line down the middle then will make other problems for them on the islands. bc most families on both sides of border. maybe they will work out, not sure how tho edit: should say manu samoa and not western samoa bc is independent nation now. used to be a part the british empire. when britain abandon the empire then it become a nz territory and now independent. american samoa still a usa territory i think

im thankful that when i crash out of sl then i can log back in straightaway and not ghost like before and stop me logging in. i crash a lot bc i use linden dev viewers most of the time and try max them out when i do im thankful that when i crash out and log back in and ima cloud then develop \ avatar \ character test works everytime for me now and i can easy get my avatar to show again im thankful that ll made it so that when random person click on a vehicle it not stop anymore and keeps going now. bc of that i buy my first vehicle ever. a simboard. is way cool (:
