oracul has 2 mono compiled scripts in it. when i go on the realms i only wear 1 other lsl compiled script should reiterate that the problems only ocurred for me in realms beta. since the realms open to the public i not had any problems with it it may be like u thinking. as when i went to realms in the beta i had quite a few scripts running, but progressively removed them. i also added a whole heap more at dif times just to see what would happen. was only ever the oracul that froze up when i loaded up like that and when i only wore the oracul and nothing else was mainly that the OP was saying that their AO is freezing up now in the same way that mine did, while other ppl not having probs at all. probs im not having anymore either. and just to say how i fixed it when it did happen ps i <3 my oracul (:

yes that way to fix will work as well the oracul AO have other stuff and features in it that the basic zhao not have. like tap tap super jump in any direction, not just forwards. is quite a easy way to switch anim sets without having to reload as well. on mine i can have 3 dif sets loaded at same time and simple touch button to make instant switch between them. so can have a normal set and a roleplay set and a dance set all at same time if i want. it not actual designed to that originally but can use the size set options in it to make up to 3 diff sets quite easy that way lots of ppl very happy with zhao and not need or want all this other stuff and that ok. i just like to have this extra stuff for myself. sometimes if it breaks then am not worried to much if i can fix myself, apart from the inconvenience sometimes

the AO goes into a state from which it cant recover. like it freezes up. the anims not play and the hud not respond to any touch. have to go a sandbox, rez and reset scripts to fix seems it only affect certain kinds of AOs, not all of them. is intemittent as well seems like, so even harder to work out what is the cause

that is a problem for some AOs yes. it seems to affect oracul AOs the most. in realms beta mine got broken just about everytime. linden seemed to have fixed it back then bc i not had any problems since. seems tho there may still be another confict somewheres somehow sounds like for u. maybe u have another kind?? what i had to do to fix my oracul was leave the realms sim. go to a sandbox (rez and script enabled). rez the AO, edit and reset the scripts. which was a pain to have to keep doing. the oracul AO is copy / no trans so i end up making extra copies so that if it broke then detach and wear the copy which worked for me while still on the realms cant do that tho if u got anims in ur AO that no-copy, like make copies, so just have to do the sandbox way. hope u can fix that way tho i got a hud that has no-copy dance anims in it. i used to wear and not worry when i went to the realms bc it not seem to have any problems. after my oracul started to get broken tho, i always take off that hud before i go to the realms, just in case really

yes best to involve an experienced combat game maker in your sim. there are quite a few of them who are really good at this kind of thing. they will give you tips on how to best set up your arena. they know all the tricks that players get up to. way more than i do

if the cheat is lsl scripted can get an idea based on the flight of the bullet in relation to the orientation of the avatar. like if it rez and then fly at a right angle to the orientation of the avatar. is no way in lsl to rotate an avatar but is quite easy to do targetting if the cheat is being done by a tpv mod then is pretty much impossible to detect this way. only giveaway then is the insane accuracy and kill rate of the person using it. most ppl who use these kinda haxs not able to control their urge to be uber bestest killa evah edit: i thought not to post this bit but i think is better if ppl know more than not. so they can make up their own minds about things can easy make a gunsight in lsl. it track ur opponents. when u turn ur avatar and ur opponent is front of u then it lock on them and u get msg/signal/sound that they direct in front. u can then either have ur gun automatic fire or manual click mouse trigger. u just keep running or flying or whatever and only fire when u get a lock. the giveaway for that is how often the player is rotating when it not make any sense for them to be doing that

i not tested this for a while so not sure if it still works like it did when adult ratings came in where u get sent to is determined by ur own rating. the one u set urself for urself in Prefs / General if u turn off adult access then u not get sent to any adult rated sims bc the teleport doesnt allow it if ppl on child avas have adult access turned on then that is their choice. what they do is not mine or anyone elses place to choose for them. if they break tos in making their own choices then they toast. tos quite clear about that why would someone on a child avatar have adult access turned on? usual bc their home sim is rated adult. why they do that? bc adult sims are safer. greifers and ppl out to make mischief target adult sims way less than general or moderate rated sims. why? bc most ppl who have adult rated sims are way more tolerant and laid back generally to start with. when pushed (edit: to extreme) they hardly ever get into the verbals with troublemakers. just silent ban and mute and carry on as if that person never existed. is no fun at all for greifers and troublemakers is that. so they not bother go to them places

yes thats true. understanding ppls emotions and how that motivates them is main part to success of a game. the game play and mechanics build on top of that, like they challenge ur reasoning faculties and trigger the compulsion to keep playing, to complete most successful games create a balance. if is just all emotion then ends up being manipulative and ppl stop playing. if is dry and not have an emotional component then ppl stop playing that one as well. bc they see it like its a test or a quiz and once they done it, they not do it again after they make their highest score also i think is other main part to a game. successful games are intuitive to learn how to play. by intuitive i mean they make sense in how u do stuff. each new new thing u learn or discover builds on that in the same way. games like this are easy to learn how to play this not the same thing as being an easy game to play. some games are really hard to play, like make achievements, but the learning process is intuitive, easy to follow and understand bc they make sense in the way u are asked to do things. even when they not play like any other game at all. game gods that knows this usual end up with successful games. games that are both hard to play and hard to learn, like unituitive, not so successful generally

ppl always into ranks and rare stuff. specially for some, if they can trade/sell what they earn or win to other players and collectors. like a golden sword or diamond wand or a rare black pearl or whatever they won. same way like chickens and fairies and meeroos can also now put a note on ppls feed. like an image of a badge or ribbon or something from the game god saying what they achieved. quite a few ppl like that kinda recognition, even when is just level up from basic 1 to 2. ppl can delete or not as they like after that. even if they delete they still know that the game god cared about them and what they achieved and acknowledge their presence in the game that important i think, the acknowledgement part. like every achievement of every player no matter how small is acknowledged and not just acknowledge the glorious few who seems to win all the biggie tourneys and quests most times. maybe is small achievement in total context of whole game, but is quite a major win for most players when they achieve for the first time. so be quite good to make a feed rewards kinda thingy, i think

what should happen is after getting that message then u have completed the tour quest. return to the base camp. if is all working then u should get paid 3l$ automatic as soon as u arrive in the yard after that then stand on the quest machine in the workshop at base camp to get the first cannon quest. when is all working u should be told to go out and collect x color crystals (if u havent collected enough already) when u got the crystals asked for then go back to the base camp and stand on the machine again. u will get the first cannon flare quest. u keep repeating til u have done them all

most the shining fixes directed at nvidia 400 series up and equivalent other makers. seems quite a few ppl been having trouble with them even with only basic shaders on. has been all kinds of jiras about that. so linden been rewriting heaps of code to make sl work for them when is free to play then is a game of whack a mole when it comes to throwaway greifer accounts. sl allows user generated content as well. so that makes it harder to police. can make a more controlled world like blue mars or there.com. is trade offs tho when u do that ppl have all kinds of views on throwaway accounts and even free to play. i dont know what is a lasting solution for that. not sure if there is even one. fake id and all that comes into if someone is determined to greif any online game or world can only really harden up ur servers as best u can and respond as quick as u can to any abuses when they come to ur attention
