I just worked out the clue! The mashed potatoes are in Birch Hill, but one of the 4 convergent regions is Porridge pot! http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Birch Hill/4/253/108

Yes, on Nautilus - Mysehi. What a blast from the past Claire did get it in the post after mine but she has a style of giving answers in the form of questions which can be a bit deceptive. Going to have another go looking for Rufferta's volcano. It is frustrating when you are sure you have seen it but can't work out where.

I was looking in the underwear section. Without narrowing it down you get all sorts of rubbish to sort through, bad enough half of those in underwear are pasties without using a less specific search.

Inventory Spring Cleaning Challenge
Aethelwine replied to Prokofy Neva's topic in General Discussion Forum
Last time I sorted my inventory I cleared 20,000 items just pruning outfit folders. -

I have noticed some old clothing layers don't wrap around properly and you will have different heights to the tops of the texture when applied to the body. Maybe that was always the case and I am just more fussy now with a mesh body. I mostly just use Bom layers for underwear for modesty rather than messing about with alphas. I really wish some of the makers of applier underwear I used for the same purpose released system layer updates for Bom. Searching for specifically "Bom panties" brings up just 200 entries and "Bom Bra" just 140 (of which over half seem to be pasties) surprisingly little choice.

That is a nice find, Rufferta. A nice fun location to visit http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Nagarjuna/121/207/55

my Suggestion to Linden and LDPW! for the Mainland!
Aethelwine replied to Mikkoto Takeda's topic in Mainland
I think Abnor replied recently to suggest that if you are prepared to pay for the hundreds of regions required you could raise a support ticket with the request for consideration. From memory I think to show your proposal is real applications under the CLPP normally require you to have funded at least 16 regions for 12 months. They might perhaps be persuaded to overlook that based on the scale of your proposal and some payments up front to fund it.- 6 replies

Okay rather than see things die... I am up a well known group of trees over 100m up in the air... but where am I?

Your turn to post a photo of a location for us to find

I have gone back to the birth place of sailing in Secondlife. Don't expect to sail far from here though... In the background you can just about see some tell tale parts of an unusual old airport, that caters not just for aeroplanes but airships as well. The founders of that airport look as eccentric as their build. But where is the start of SL sailing, and where am I?

I think you are at Swanhild overlooking Violet http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Swanhild/162/13/23

I think I encountered a speed camera on mainland... I have certainly seen them on private sims. They are a bit of fun and encourage speeding as you try to get the highest speed recorded on it. But seriously if you are dressing up as a cop for a roleplay... you really need to judge this well and be sure anyone you roleplay with is clear that is all it is otherwise you have moved from adding colour and a bit of fun to griefing.

Private home/parcel, what is allow and not?
Aethelwine replied to SigmaDeltaOmega's topic in Mainland
Maybe that was the intention. People can worry too much about this sort of thing... You can see all sorts of things that should probably be hidden on moderate mainland that has been there 10 years or more. -
Not so sure of the numbers I do it by eye but your numbers sound about what I have done with every shape for the last 8 years. It just makes everything seem a bit more cheerful to have a slightly smiley resting face.

I'll put the updated world map here too since the old one was on this thread as well. Feel free to reuse it, just keep the credit to Jessica on it or include a credit to her... she has had to do some clever stuff to put this together. (It zooms in a couple of times.) .

It looks so close to the other continents..... but just not quite connected (yet?) nor completed... It is rather sad up there.
