I don't think anyone has suggested paving over the Wagon road, there is however a Linden owned route that would connect it to route 8A, that has been clear and protected since 2013. Perhaps putting tarmac along that route would make the transition on to the wagon road a bit incongruous, but I do think some sort of indication it is there like a sign, or some dirt road markings, or even just transfering ownership from Governor Linden and maintenance to LDPWs would be worthwhile.

Unless I am missing it the Memorial to Cooter Linden got removed along with the road repairs, the only indication remaining of what was once there a "bridge out" sign under the water, and a few bits of wreckage.

I wouldn't have thought anything of it without this thread pointing it out. My initial reaction would be that would be nice outfit for a camping trip. fun loving John Goodman type father figure maybe. I imagine there will be people buying the outfit in ignorance and wondering why they are getting a mixture of hostile reactions and people talking to them about bizarre conspiracy theories. 'Had I bought it in ignorance and then found out the meaning I would feel pretty badly cheated that the shop hadn't made it clear I was going to be making a statement wearing it.

A private landlord will have ultimate control over the land they are renting, but they should be able to delegate sufficient control to you either via access to an orb or through a role in the land group.

Renting a skybox is likely to result in a skybox that is part of a stack of them rented above and below you every few hundred metres. They are high density rentals and likely to encourage people visitors and other renters to cam around and introduce themselves. Whilst going premium and buying some abandonned land is one option, an easier one would be to look for land rentals on a private region. It has been a long time since I looked into it for myself, but I would think for privacy it would be your best option. All I can really advise on that is that unless you are renting from a large reputable rental company don't pay too far in advance. It is rare but it can happen that the rental company goes out of business leaving you with out the land you paid for.

It has been so long since I made an account I didn't recognise it as as that. It is unclear because it talks about joining and contributing to the community, so my initial thought was that the join button was to join the community for additional content and resources to allow you to contribute specifically for the community pages not SL in general.

I am wondering if I join on that page I am joining the LGBTQ+ Community and gain access to more information or if I would just be creating another second life account I have no need of?

I am a bit confused, either the page is broken in some way or we need to create a new login account specifically for the community pages?

Relying on the goodwill of others whilst not extending that goodwill to your neighbours, is so obviously selfish, it should not need pointing out. But it sounds like it resolved itself. If it is the area I am thinking of then I spoke with the landlord and their renter at the West end of the route because they blocked a cruise I planned and had spent hours and in the past spent a lot of money on land to help to create. The outcome was constructive at least for now. It is sad and I don't think a very clever system that we have to gamble on investments to open routes up like this. It should really be obvious to those buying the parcels they are paying a premium for them because the value of their land depends upon access, access that their neighbours collaborate to achieve.

Knowing me I would move my folder of stuff into the floor doing that 😁 But very useful to know!

Thanks for looking it up for me. It has been a while since I played with bulk adding animations to furniture, AOs or dance balls, when the problems with lost files were driving me potty until I found that method.

Dragging things into boxes solution comes up a lot in threads like this. It sounds so simple, and easy. But unless you are only dragging 10-20 or so items at time, stuff gets lost and doesn't transfer. If you are checking that everything transferred across then after a few batches you end up waiting and waiting for the box contents to update so you can check everything went across. I think there is a function in firestorm that will reliably copy things across in to boxes, but I don't recall what it is off the top of my head. From my experience of boxing things up and pitfalls of potentially losing your stuff, it is much easier to just bite the bullet and start deleting things. If you are going to box things up then look on the firestorm wiki for the way to reliably copy stuff without losing things.

I knew someone with 450,000 items in their inventory. I have managed to keep mine to under 210,000 (so far) without much problem, I just organise into sub-folders every now and then to keep it relatively flat. This 350,000 limit must be a new thing, if it is actually real.

I remember one of them was tall enough to add in two additional floors and with enough space outside for a hot tub, patio seats and some plants. Easily my favourite old style Linden home.

What is an animesh attachment? Why might I want one or even two of them. I have an animesh dancer, but can't see any benefit to wearing them, and so know a bit what animesh is, but clueless what benefit it might be in this context.

2048m² homes could be interesting, but until then for me at least the premium package is not very enticing.

Was there any mention of being able to use the tier for more than one Bellisseria home?. Maybe two 1024m²s or four 512m²s?
