    Your choice as always Beth. However, that's not something that gives me a chuckle, unlike the standing joke about Taylor that was doing the rounds a while back. Tbh, don't think I've ever heard a Taylor Swift song, and most music died in the mid-90's as far as I'm concerned.....from BOTH sexes!

    Yes mate, that's factually correct, well done. However, while they now have to understand that there's English, Scottish, Irish and Welsh accents, you're going to have to learn all 50 of theirs! No such thing as an "American accent"...right?

    Always thought us 'Manc's' were as distinctive as cockney's and scouser's tbh. Then again, the term "Northern" encompasses Lancashire and Yorkshire and there's a lot of accents between them with only slight differences, so yeah, it can be awkward when guessing, even for me! Just finished the TV series 'white lines'. Apart from the Spaniard's, the rest are pure 'Manc's'. Give a go, it'll train you better for guess work! 😆

    A week or so on YouTube really helped me and is probably your best bet. My main ones watched were 'Naria Panthar' and 'Strawberry Singh's back catalog's but there are many. As a guy, (or 'non-gender specific') you can probably profit from looking up @Skell Dagger's blogs (don't have a link right now sorry.).
