My understanding is that the 2004 homes are hot off the press. Never owned.

My alts were each created as RP characters in early SL or as players in the various games I've played. Today they are involved in the Find the Perfect Home of Each Type Quest. In other words, they were created for practical purposes and remain that way today. I admire those of you who are more imaginative, more poetic, and more comfortable with aspects of the self than I.

Released because we have a water parcel the bunch of us like more. However, we love to canvass for the perfect parcel, whatever that is. 😝

Ugh. I released it, but it is still showing as I named it, and there is no option to abandon it showing.

It may be that they are testing that feature with the 90 degree turn as a starting place. Wouldn't it be wonderful! For ALL the homes to go 360!

It drives me nuts when I land a water parcel, but the house is positioned in such a way that you can't see it from inside. As a result I am double nuts today.

We had tried all different times. What worked for us was afternoons into evening Eastern time.

Four alts hunting mercilessly for days and not getting anything special (i.e. water). And then BAM! It was inspiring! Two of them got beautiful riverside log homes in Woodchuck and Windsock on the same day. Fear not weary traveler! Your homes exist and are looking for you!

Does anybody have a clue if the releases are evenly timed throughout the 24 hour day?

Usually true, but it's more about China than corporations this time. 3M and Honeywell told officials that they had supplies ready for export from their China factories to the US when China refused export and purchased the goods for themselves. Also, around January or February, China hoarded about 2 billion masks and a large amount of protective gear purchased from the EU, Australia, and Brazil. Recently China has begun easing exports, using it for soft power, essentially saying it's a humanitarian gesture. Except the problems we are facing came about as a direct result of their policies. The US is weighing action against their alleged practices.

I am grateful for the open contemporary design of the beautiful Grand View. Kudos to Magic Mole. And a big thank you to @Blush Bravin for the deck idea. I made one out of prims and assorted goodies lying around my vast inventory. The only thing missing from the house is a basement to store that inventory in. Anybody know how to make one? 😄

A couple of my alts' houses doubled well AFTER their lot was claimed. I was just wondering what a region with a bunch of double houses would do to the server, especially if the region was full! An extra 250 prims per lot! Ouch! Can furniture get crushed? 😄

Agreed. It's very, very hard to find a spot with some water. Four alts have been diligently searching and maxing out their turns every day. Nothing. 🙁 While the rest of Belli is landscaped in a way that makes it feel "full" without water, IMO, the Log Homes seem sparse.

It's got nothing to do with Jared. Each of our States should have had all this preparedness equipment to begin with. It is part of their job and is budgeted. But the monies were spent on other projects. (Like who could have possibly imagined this!!!) So the Fed is pitching in and procuring supplies.

The alts and I have had different problems, mostly with perms in a couple parcels. I expect all this will clear up and I will post with more detail if it doesn't.

The most organized method to move, for me at least, is to use a rezzer. I use Rez-Faux. This works best when transitioning from the same home in one region to the same home in another. I do that lots.

Perhaps they raised the water level to compensate for their water glitch. When they fix it, they can lower the water. Thus the empty land around the continent would be under water. But the houses near likes will be flooded. Lol!

When you click your home's control panel the rotate option comes up in the first blue screen that pops up. This option is available ONLY on the Grandview.

Three alts, 15 tries and nothing worth keeping. (Except for one Grand View which wouldn't turn around 180 degrees.) 🙁 Oh well, Tomorrow's Only a Day Away. 🙂
