  1. Special kudos to the team who put this event together! Very well thought out and very well executed. And loads of fun! I also appreciate the mixed neighborhood! Love all the different theme homes cohesively placed together. Imagine a theme where residents could choose and switch from a wide array of homes for their land!
  2. I help them dress up for cheap or free and show them the Linden Homes they can buy with their savings. 😁
  3. I'm late to the thread, but I did want to announce that I only play myself. So, I am me, and I am we, and we is me. We were born long ago to play TE. Now most of us own Linden homes and mainland. It is very easy to distinguish us. I look good. They don't. In fact, every time I see an OLD avatar sporting outdated skin and clothes, I think, "Aha! ALT!" 😸
  4. For the home you just acquired.
  5. For the house you just acquired.
  6. I like that the home's content pack is available from the new land page, and I like the rest of the links that help especially the newer people. it's easy to use. But I don't like that there is no way to open a map to see where you are if you are not logged into SL.
  7. Hmmm... Doesn't seem the number of available homes in the Med region (and probably others) on the land page is accurate. It has said 8 homes were available since the last time I looked a couple of days ago. I've tp'd to 4 random regions and found 7 available homes before I stopped.
  8. Second Try: Dear Santa Patch, it is discouraging that there is no response from yourself or from a beloved Mole regarding the Candlelight Procession. Last year's final performance was lovely, though you didn't seem quite yourself. Later we found out that you indeed were not feeling well, though you braved through it anyway. After that, you stayed out for quite a while, if memory serves. Having just gotten over Covid myself back then, I wondered if it had bit you as well. My Christmas wish list includes a plea to continue this wonderful tradition. I suspect however that the event may not happen because it would have already been announced, and you seem busier and busier as of late. Wishing you and yours a happy and healthy Holiday Season!
  9. Happy Birthday @Adamburp Adamczyk! I don't know how you managed the Happy Birthdays you sent out all these years! At first, I thought you were a Linden with a funny name. (The Lindens should send out birthday greetings! Hint hint.) It was such a feel good! Thank you for that. Wishing you a wonderful 17th!
  10. Thank you for the suggestion to whitelist cache @Kathrine Jansma. It made a big difference for me.
  11. Is Patch doing the Christmas candle light procession this year?
  12. Reading this I finally got the houses to switch out. Yay! Major achievement. But I wouldn't have known how to change homes had I not read this post! I know you Moles are diligently working to fit this. Maybe add signage for now? The second problem encountered: when I tried to change colors on the house, nothing happened. Touch and long touch did not give me control. Is this the way it will work? (hope not!) Thank you for installing this great idea!
  13. @Teresa FirelightWhere is the land page? My account home page is still connected to the old page.
  14. @Nikki2298I can understand an angry reaction to not receiving what you expected. We're Human. That's how we react at times. Keep in mind that Patch has made it very clear that people who are unhappy with their upgrade, for any reason, will be reimbursed. That is a generous, customer-oriented policy.
  15. Because pictures of kitties make me happy. Also, I have the mainland prims. If need be they can safely go into inventory (or Cattery).
  16. Well, I'll be a blue nosed gopher! Never knew about box hovertext! Hmmmm... Maybe boxes ARE alive!
  17. I can only speak for myself. It's not a cat until you birth it. I may not want a kitty birthed because I may not have a need for that fur now. They are expensive to feed and can only breed until they are 120 days. So, until I want to breed them or find the right partner, or just have them around, no sense in birthing them. Once you birth a KittyCat, past the first day, you can't put it back in the box and unbirth it.
