What questions should be asked at Lab Gab sessions at SL20B, coming up just next week? Maybe more good questions will come to mind if we bounce ideas here.

According to the blog post, we can ask them at this link by this coming Wednesday the 21st.

Both Oberwolf and Rosedale will be there, but other top Lindens and Moles also have sessions (of more interest to me, personally).

One I won't ask: "That 'Social Casino', WTF were you thinking?" (Maybe questions starting with "WTF" aren't the most productive, huh?)

Here's one I asked: "How can residents encourage Lab efforts to rejuvenate Mainland, and participate in solutions encouraging more and larger Mainland ownership?"

There are dozens of questions I'd like to hear answered, but . . . the problem with Lab Gab, of course, is that the questions are vetted. If they don't want to answer something, they simply won't. I suspect any question about social casinos will fall into that category.

But this seems a pretty good one:

If you think it will encourage them to address it, I'll ask a version of it myself as well.

Probably we should each ask the questions we want answered.

It may be fun to concoct innocent-seeming questions that lure Lindens into thinking differently while considering how to answer them—even if they ultimately decide not to answer them at all.

That would be the most interesting question to ask, if they would answer. Broad non-specific questions get broad non-specific answers.  Best way to improve mainland is ban structures between 100 and 1200 meters above land elevation, and clean up the junk left between 20 m and 100 meters.  Residents can't help with that.  Using Firestorm to derender ugly neighbor objects probably won't be in their answer either.

BTW those slots in the social casino seem to hit an unusual number of spins. You can play them all day and stay even now.

My question:

"It's been almost five years since a new version of Linden Homes was begun. Some would say that Bellisseria has now become too large and has taken up too much time, too many resources and staff to create it, while simultaneously neglecting or ignoring the remaining Mainland and grid on which Second Life was originally based and born from.

When is Linden Labs (ever) going to stop building Bellisseria and complete Linden Homes in order to allow LL staff to actually get back to work on dealing with the mountain high pile of remaining problems and issues found in the majority of the SL grid infrastructure and addressing resident's actual wants, needs and worries?"

- would've been my question, if I believed they would even allow that question to pass through their pre-screening, filtering and question vetting system...

It's been a year, what happened to the NUX - Is it dead? If not what the hold up, highly successful commercial bodies don't take a year.

Can LL reaffirm it's commitment to open source development and fostering a rich and diverse TPV ecosystem?

There has been significant upset over the Social Casino, can you explain why this happened?

Mentors have been reinstated and that's awesome, any plans for live help ?

(I believe in you @Saffia Widdershins!!) Simulated intimacy is a tent pole attraction for the platform as a whole, do LL have any plans to raise the profile of salacious activities in marketing and growing these communities?

Why are the old Linden homes still a thing (and not a Library item)?

How do LL plan to address the expectations deficit when people with video game experience (smooth performance and highly responsive physics) join SL only to feel like it's 2004 all over again?

If a woodchuck could chuck plywood, why would he bother? Prims are dead. Would the lab care to investigate bringing back collaborative in-world building, or at least finding a way to integrate SL into creators adopted industry workflows (temporary mesh uploads, etc).

Why are mesh upload fees still not part of the premium plus package?

Fees are badly hurting small creators, what are you doing to help them?
