I'm compiling a list of interesting restaurants in SL. Can anyone recommend any good, well-designed, interesting Asian restaurants eg Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Korean etc ?

• Club Shinjuku, in the SYZM Tower. Go to "NTBI", leave the mall, and find the tall building. Walk through the lobby. Take an elevator to the 21st floor. Turn left when you get out of the elevators. Open for lunch. NTBI keeps Eastern US time. Good for business lunches.
• Kitsune, in Dark Future. Go to "Esperia", leave the entry area, pick up a Visitor tag. Head for the "Luna" entry board, and select "Luxxon Plaza". Kitsune is nearby. Say hello to Asuna. If you sign up for Dark Future roleplay, you can get food there, which will cost roleplay money but will increase your HP.
• Eenya in Mopire. Go to "Mopire", enter the mall, and turn right past the escalators. Choice of mat or chair seating. Undistinguished but authentic Japan. This city is occasionally used for urban combat roleplay by SSOC.

There's the House of Joy in Ethereal City, but it is open only to members of the city group.

Woodcrest University has a Chinese restaurant, but it's takeout only.

Kowloon has several Chinese food locations, but they're pretty low end and in a bad neighborhood.

Maybe the Takai City Hotel has one? I've never been to their RP area (you pay for the room and get access to hotel amenities), but they do have various RP shops and cafes scattered around the city.

They're all Japanese/Hawaiian themed, obvs. I found them while bouncing around the grid. Have fun!

Forgot to add that the SL Hotel Inspector website is a great resource if you're looking for vacation/hotel/restaurant RP. There are all kinds of mostly paid, themed sims to visit, and you can get a preview of what they offer from the reviews on the site.

I operated a Chinese restaurant by the Great Wall of Second Life when I owned land there, so maybe go there and explore.  You never know, maybe someone else did the same.

There is (or used to be) a Japanese restaurant with a sushi bar on one ofthe lower decks of the SS Galaxy. I'm not sure if it's still there, but AFAIK the whole build has been preserved as-is, so it probably is.

Cafe Nodoca.

Go to Electra. You'll arrive in the middle of a road. To the southwest, you'll see a big arch signed "SL Futsal Area", which is a soccer arena. Go down the side road which passes the archway, and you'll se a small archway "Cafe nocdoca". Go through the small archway, down the tunnel, and when out of the tunnel, turn left. Follow the trail to the cafe.
