Hi, thanks, that's Gyazo. Is my first or second attempt, I think with practice can perhaps make mini movies. Or at least dynamic, if that is the right word, photos.

Did you zoom in, or did you have a "clean" UI?

I understand what you mean, no, I left my interface as is, what it lets you do is actually click and drag an area, like inworld building, and record only that space. That is the result you see and that was only maybe my second ever time messing with it, I am convinced it must have greater capabilities if I could do that.

To clarify a bit, my screen to me was everything and I "clipped" a part of it out. Anyway! Second Life!

That makes it difficult to make a "short", because you need the size and aspect ratio the same for all the clips. If you have dedicated Nvidia graphics in your laptop,  there is a screen record function. Mine has that. I have tested it, but not done anything with it. That would make all the clips the same size. But would have to output as an animated GIF, if I understand correctly in what would work here. For making a short to share, you can have it in any format you want.

Ok, thanks.

Edit: Ok I read it back better and agree with what you are saying, the random grabs are gonna be random but you can make that a cute project, like a collage. Anyway,

Ok, thanks.

You could export the clips at the same size, and then assemble in a nonlinear editor like Premiere or VideoStudio, but the clips would have skew. You would need the editor to export anyways, to change the clip size.

Yeah, but what I am seeing is not a linear video but rather 10? second moving pictures :)

Non-linear editing (NLE) is an editing process that enables the editor to make changes to a video or audio project without regard to the linear timeline. In other words, you can work on whichever clip you want in any order. It doesn't matter if it lands in the beginning, middle, or end of the project.

Ok, that's beyond my ken. Thank's anyway.

Let's just say she wasn't quick enough on her edit in the other picture thread.

Take the tech talk to a new thread. Use the Creation Forum->Art, Music, Photography and there is a Machinima section. You'll get more info from those into the tech side.

Not really. The first chip generally sets the size. But there is always a way to set the canvas size. Put the biggest clip in first. You can make a clip the exact size you want for the final render. Add it first. Then add your other clips then remove the initial sizing clip. With a little practice you can make nice video from any collection of different size clips. It isn't hard.

Just a last comment. Yes, it will do that. But we can't make 16:9 from 4:3, unless it's resized and cropped, or it becomes stretched. And if we do the cropping and resizing necessary, the clip will lose resolution, and parts of the image.

I was enjoying a ride on a Yavascript pod, but was ejected after a sim crossing. While trying to chase the pod along this bridge, I opted to instead to sit back and just appreciate the scenery

Quite a view from up here,  as I was enjoying the scenery I decided to take another of the bridge itself. I had to set my draw distance quite a bit to capture a large portion of it.

Sim crossings have been a bit painful today, earlier I was ejected from my car, so I opted for a wearable vehicle, in this instance my moped. Wearable vehicles never give me an issue on days like today, where I think the issue is with my internet connection.

For now, my SL is just exploring the mainland, stopping every once in a while and taking a few random snapshots 🙃

If I never told you that these peeps are related to the guy with the bad dye job on the far right, would you have guessed that they're all manned by the same typist?

No, but I think it is cool that you all can express your selves in such unique and interesting ways, I have a hard time with just the one of me :) and third from left makes me think of the video Feel Good by the Gorillas :) and far right dude is David Bowie, lol
