I would say: check out what is "in vogue" at the moment and seriously update your avatar. Have a look at other Flickr pages and blogs to see how Second Life has progressed. In my opinion SL modeling has lost ground to blogging about SL. Brands don't use models as much anymore, they use skillful bloggers. It will probably be a long, difficult  and expensive journey if you want to play any kind of role in that world.

Welcome back Vicky!   As Jules said, you might have to spend some time and Ls updating to current styles since a lot of new things have come around.

Here's a good example of what SL's top models are doing.

What sort of work did you do before? Mostly print, or other types of modeling?

And I agree with everyone else - you really need to update your avatar and take photos that reflect the 2020 trends. Here are a few Flickr links from some of SL's current top models:

They are all active on social media, bloggers, editorial print and runway experienced. Feel free to message me inworld if you have any questions ^^

Hello everyone!

Thank you everyone for your support and tips! I'll check out about new trends and see what I can do to update my avatar. I see a lot is changed in SL. But actually I had a lot of experience in runaway shows, pageants (like Miss Italia SL or Miss SL) and photo shoots. At that time I was doing pretty good and had a name. I was also teaching in a few modeling school,  but then I needed to focus on RL and had to stop it. I run a RL blog, maybe could dedicate part of it to SL...

😆 ok ok i got the tip...my avatar is out of date

Here's a link to the Miss SL magazine.  It will give you an idea about what models are doing now.  The Mr. SL is just beginning so that might be fun for you to watch too.

Shush Alwin 😅

heyyyy :) .. nothing against the older lady! She looks great for me, just dressed a bit too young :) . so update a little and she can go with the flow of fashion again.
It was more about calling herself "famous" .. that's for me a bit much .

While in cryo sleep, you completely missed the time where we had to use appliers to add skins, makeup and tattoo to our mesh bodies.
But thats not bad at all, as we have BOM (bakes on mesh) now, what allowes us to simply attach skins, makeup and tats like we did in 2010.
So, once you got your mesh body and bento head, thats what you want to use most likely.
