I'm pretty sure the gorillas are currently banging on things as we speak. A friend of mine is in-world and she was trying to rez things and right now it seems she can again.

It was terrible, I tried to log in and I got this message, “Logins unavailable at this time. At blah blah time SL a resident named Alwin Alcott changed his avatar from socks only to full avie and it overloaded our system. Logins will be available shortly as soon as he allows us onto his grass to fix the problem” 
 It was terribly traumatizing! Does anyone know if we get a Linden house in the new area for enduring this? Maybe stipends for all at the very least??????
