Rilee Dallas Posted May 3, 2022 Share Posted May 3, 2022 what makes this song so amazing is the emotion of the words....the story in shorthand is this guy, the singer, falls in love at first sight with a cold heartless princess. the princess promises to marry any nobleman who can answer three questions, if they get a question wrong, they are beheaded. this guy. secretly a nobleman, gets the questions all right, the princess is not happy about this and turns to her father the emperor to say she does not want to marry this guy, this guy quickly offers the princess a deal, if she can guess his name by morning, she can behead him, if she can't guess his name, she has to marry him, the princess takes the deal then orders everyone in the town to stay awake all night to find out the mans name saying everyone in the town will be put to death in the morning if none can find the mans name....he is singing in English...
