Yea Charity had one of those recorders. can schedule recordings and such. made watching some programs a lot easier for sure lol. . It should list within 24 hours of the time you clicked the box. If it is not showing and you are being charged for it. then submit a ticket and tell them it is not being listed and you are being charged for it

open the ad it self to edit it and turn off (uncheck the box) Auto renew. When the week runs out it should stop renewing and delete it self

I guess it is a matter of personal preference. I would expect facebook to bombard me with ads since there is not premium membership and 100% free. FB has gone as far as bombarding my wall with ads and now I don't use it anymore. Ads that make me think my friends agree to LOL My ad in my signature is not on your pages and only visible when I answer questions or help someone or answer a post or 2 . Small price to pay for help from residents I could care less if the ads were from SL or even RL. Its just not the standard . I am all for a company to make money. That's why I payed for premium. But I guess LL wants money hand over fist and that's fine for them too. It will be a deciding factor weather I renew or not and the horrible support I received lately is the topper. They have ads now. So I don't need to pay for ads being displayed to me. LOL Like I stated before. Removal of banner ads for premium members is normally a selling point to get people to pay for premium .. LL has it backwards LOL Just like when I ran my clubs. I had all kinds of ads put up. Because I didn't charge anyone anything and needed to recover costs. If I charged for entry and use. Then I wouldn't disrespect the premium members by putting up ads all around them to make even more money LOL But I guess that's why my proffits were low and user base high LOL But I am no one to tell anyone what to do. Yea, Like I stated in another thread and someone else mentioned it in this thread that premium members should not be bombarded with the ads.. That is usually a selling point for most websites, to offer ad removal if they pay for premium membership.. I Guess if they don't disappear for me, then ill drop my premium LOL

Usually websites remove banner ads for premium paying members. But guess LL don't see it that way lol. Even Spamming premium members sighs at the money train

From the looks of blocksworld website it seems to be geared towards young children,, Early branding. Get them while they are young and they will grow up to be perfect SL users lol

No, I am at a resort for a while, and don't have access to the router. It all started after the Internet company came out to work on stuff and was shut down for an hour. So after the system comes back up. I get a new Ip which seems to be banned lol. Wish it was that easy this time lol. But using my VPN to log in with. So I am already worked around it . But still lowsy CS

Last Friday I ended up with an already Banned IP . I am a premium member and submitted a support ticket 4 days ago and to this day it is sitting there un-answered by the next department.. Premium is not any more priority than a non. Worst support ever in my entire Second Life

It's Probably an IP ban. I am currently going thru the same thing. My Internet company came out to do some work the other day and after the router came back on line it gave me a new IP and now I get the " You can not access second life from this computer". error every time I log in. Looks Like I picked up an already banned IP. So I am using my VPN to log in with lol If you have access to your router. unplug it for 30 minutes to an hour and see if it picks up a New Ip after you plug it back in to the power source. I dont have access to my router, so I have been waiting for LL to answer a ticket for 2 days on this matter. it seems they dont give a flying rats arse lol My guess is you have an IP that is already in the ban list or their system is borked and banning users just for logging in

I Am actually going thru this for the first time of my entire Second Life. I got disconnected my my internet company yesterday while they worked on things. After my internet comes back up. I have a new IP.. Suddenly I find that I am banned from SL LOL. So I decided to take the " Lets try using Second Life Support" trail. I am premium. Surely they can help me thru live chat? Ah alas I can still talk to live chat and get this resolved quickly!(as so I thought) So I messaged live chat and told them what seems to be going on . So he says he can file a support case for me and will have to ask me for more information ( my IP. Mac address and my hard drive serial number) thru the case and email. Well the live chat dude files an Abuse appeal Ticket on behalf of me. Uh, I didn't even do any sort of abuse to get banned LOL. What is to appeal? So I send them the information they requested in a timely manner. And then I get a reply from the live chat person thru my ticket telling me. " Thanks Dilbert! That is all the info we need from you at this time" And he proceeded to say in the email that he has no idea how long it will take. And that he is now forwarding my case to the next department and can not tell me how long it will take because he can't see the queue of the next department. So using live chat was a joke and now has been hours since the issue started . I know how to get a new Ip but I dont have that luxury sharing net with others and can not shut them down for an hour to see if my router picks up a new IP. So it is pretty rediculous how i am having to get the run around on unbanning my Ip because I have clearly done nothing wrong lol It is probably one of those deciding factors of why people stop renewing premium and stop using second life alltogether So I filed this ticket yesterday and my Ip is still banned LOL
