Welcome to Second Life You can have your friends Teleport you by sending you a teleport request from your profile or chat window There is also a feature to allow friends to see you in The Map. If all your friends enable that. You can then track them from the map.. Even Sneak up on them when you know they are on a date. LOLz Open a Users profile and click on the gear looking button on the far right and chose permissions. From there you can set permissions for each friend and also offer them a Teleport from there They can also send you or you send them a landmark. Create a landmark by clicking world up at the top of your screen in the menu bar. Then you can just hand them the landmark thru their chat window

Possibly any errors or exavtly what happens when you try to log in, and a little information about your computer specs First thought would be to suggest logging into a different region. Chose a different start location in PreferencesType in a region name like Smith or an other region you may know or prefer to log in to Second thought would be to reboot your modem and or router if you have one

Nice video Melita .. It was avery Tragic event that occured in Newtown . When I watched CNN the other day and seen all those baby's faces. I cried a lot, and asked my self " How could anyone do such a hanus thing?" I knew the answer. It is a person who is mentally unstable and has been forgotten or tossed around thru the system to where they have had enough. However the politics in this situation is also tragic. And I do not think more gun control to remove weapons from us is going to fix it. I feel that, better resources for the mentally ill is way past due, and always put on the back burner. If anything needs to be done, I feel it should be to provide more resources for the mentally ill, make it better for the mentally ill, and if any gun control needs to be done I would say mental health background checks are needed, which are not being done.. If you take guns out of the hands of good people. You have no protection against the bad person whom ignores gun laws and laws in general... My opinion of course. Removing guns will not stop anyone on a mission to kill a lot of people... There is bombs and other devastating ways to deliver a death blow. I had this happen the other day. I simply cleared my cache and it logged in fine after...But if clean install is not working I would say reboot the modem and clear cache before you try logging in again but try logging in to a different region

That was one of the things that is a big stuggle for most when they begin using blender, including my self. The Older videos are fantastic but finding where everything has moved to can be difficult. But the modeling/rigging process is the same and concept the same . The interface has only changed. I made it a point to search vidoes for 2.6 and cgcookie was an awesome help for me learning the 2.6 interface modeling... Now it is easy watching old videos and knowing right where everything is located. LOL hang in there And please don't punch any infants

I strongly suggest changing the password immediately. and have it investigasted, . Of Course this will lock down the account untill the investigation is complete.. Sounds like to me it is just level of display. The further you zoom out the level of display changes to a lower poly model which will distort.. That is pretty much normal characteristics. I think you can change your LOD factor in Debug Settings . Snoop around the mesh debug settings maybe. But that wont help poorly constructed mesh

Hello Jade, You CAN edit mesh in world . Just rez the mesh item on the ground and drag the texture from your inventory directly to the mesh object and drop the image on it. Providing you used the UV maps to place the art work where it should go. It should turn out fine Or use the traditional right click/edit the object and apply texture from the Texture tab of the edit window You Just can't edit WORN mesh
